I had a buddy today text me saying he'd be a great back up to Murray.

I responded " we already have one knuckle head at RB we don't need another"

OK, I see how this works now. Player "X" gets cut by team "X", make immediate thread wondering weather the Cowboys should sign player "X".

Man i swear as soon as I heard about it this morning I had this thought, "what if we picked him up". Now I am not one to pick up players who only think about theirselves BUT I did ponder the thought of us grabbing him. The majority of our remaining games are on the road in cold weather. We could seriously pound teams with him and Murray. With Murray getting most of the carries. It was just a thought and obviously he may want more carries but let your mind go there for a moment. But I don't want a cancer in the locker room.

The NFL locker room can be a very "forgiving" place. Players will accept adulterers, drug addicts, alcoholics, killers, spouse/significant-other abusers, steroid users, etc. So if players don't want you (which the Steelers didn't) in their locker room, you're pretty awful as a teammate. I doubt, down the stretch and unless someone desperately needs a running back, LeBlount will find himself back on an NFL roster.

I don't think you read the post, just the title.

This is hilarious. See what you started?

Edit: I was thrown off by the "just kidding" statement. I thought you were kidding about him being cut. I now see that he really has been cut.

I'm wondering if he even gets another chance?

I doubt it.

Guys like him are a dime a dozen. Theres no need to bring in a guy with this attitude.

I'd be surprised if he gets another chance. Not sure anybody is that dewsperate. I think his career may be over, such as it was.

Unfortunately that is all too common around here.

Isn't this the 2nd player this year that we've read about refusing to enter a game? I would like to think the whole league would take notice and let these guys go play arena ball or flip burgers for a living.

Ahmad Brooks also refused to play last Sunday against the Giants because he had to split time with Aldon Smith. Some guys just don't get it.

The Broncos are getting thin at running back and they probably still won't touch Blount.

You really want this here? Why this guy was ever let into the league.....really confuses me. The league will suspend a guy for disciplining his kid....but they will allowed this into the league.....go figure.

Oh Floaty...

Just a minor difference in disciplining a kid and what AP did. Just minor

Just kidding. I thought I would just beat somebody to the punch of making another dumb thread.

He exited the last game before it was over, got dressed and headed for the bus before the other players were even in the locker-room. He was mad that he did get carries as Le'Veon Bell was racking up 204 yards rushing.

Let's get him and Ben Tate and we can start a 5 headed monster running attack.

No thanks.....................he clearly is not mentally ready to accept a backup role.

He thinks he should be starting and if somebody else gets carries over him, then he is going to get pissed and basically quit the game and head to the lockerroom early?

He would really love being in Dallas sitting behind Murray:laugh:
