Although he was just added this past week, I wonder if Cory Lekkerkerker (whose name should have ended after one "ker") has a chance to beat out Joe Berger for a backup spot.
If Dallas doesn't move either Pat McQuistan or James Marten to guard, then Berger would seem a shoe-in to stay on the roster as an interior backup ... but then there's this late addition to the roster.
Lekkerkerker comes to Dallas from Miami, where he was coached by our current line coach, and was previously on San Diego's roster (after Houck left), appearing in games for both teams. He has more starting/playing experience than Berger and possibly more versatility since he can also play tackle and has been used as the blocking tight end on short-yardage plays while with the Chargers.

The Cowboys- Dolphins shuttle continued to run this week as Dallas signed offensive tackle Cory Lekkerkerker Wednesday, according to the team's Web site.
Lekkerkerker, who was signed by the Dolphins last September after the Chargers cut him, played nine games, including two late-season starts at left guard in place of a benched Chris Liwienski.
The 6-foot-7, 323-pounder will be reunited with Cowboys offensive line coach Hudson Houck, who held the same position with the Dolphins since 2005.
