Nonsense. Peyton was credited with Kerry Collins' reemergence as a good QB. He had a good rep in NY.

Soooo...when did he dump on either of them? I missed that part. He is lowering their role - but they are still here. In fact, Ellis got his extension in Parcells' first year. So Ellis and Parcells had some discussions. He wasn't 'dumped on.'

This topic is started just to piss people off. Badattitude is really Quincy Carter whining about being toosed on the streets.

Bledsoe is an improvement over anything taking snaps since Troy.

Our OLine is very good.

Our Defense will be great again this year. One off year and everyone panics.

JuJo has potential, but he has to prove himself over 16 games. If he does, Bledsoe has a stellar year.

I don't think Badattitude (aka:QC) wants anything more than to get some attention because he was ignored by his Momma when he was a baby.

But one less weakness on the right with Rivera replacing Gurode. The return of Campbell is a big plus there as well.

Glover and Ellis have too much class to LET Parcells lose the team over them. I bet not one of them makes a single gripe all season.

Ellis' concern was that he was being phased out. Once the season starts you won't hear a peep out of him. There won't be any jersey's thrown by those two.

Other than that ...we're just fine

1) It is widely believed that Drew is an upgrade over Vinny, albeit a mild one. He's not Troy, but he should be more effective if he has a running game to count on.

2) Zimmer didn't do much with the limited talent that he had. But this is the first that I've read about him being intimidated by Parcells. Please provide some backup to this statement.

3) Payton has been widely coveted in the past. NYC evidently thought he lost that golden glow over the course of one year. Bill Parcells doesn't. How good has NYC been without Bill? Or Payton for that matter?

4) Our LB size was increased this year. Still small by average, but bigger than last year. I see that we have upgraded our LB core. Do you disagree with that?

5) The OL does have a hole at RT. It did last year as well. But, the addition of a pretty decent RG should help. I see our OL as upgraded from last year in a significant way. Do you agree with that?

6) I don't see Parcells dumping on any players. I see him moving towards a scheme he thinks will be more effective in the long run. I admit that they may not be happy with the switch. But Parcells teams do not historically swing emotionally to disgruntled players. Players who become disgruntled are moved. they are certainly not catered to. Catering to playeers will lose a team faster than following a vision for improvement.

7) Yes. Goodrich. You have already decided that Henson is not going to be effective. You and I disagree. Few QB's come in ready to play right away. Henson is going to be starting for the Cowboys by fall 2007. If I'm wrong, I'll come back here and post that I'm an idiot.

8) Henry is an upgrade over what we started last year. Do you disagree with that? Our backfield should be better than last year.

9) Glenn and Witten both are pretty good at getting open. Keyshawn uses his body to get to the ball. Crayton looks like a player with some real potential. Had you brought up age and health, you might have a point. But to say they can not seperate, I disagree.

10) I agree, nice rookie crop. But DE usually do contibute early. I expect Spears to be an immediate upgrade. Dallas also has some experience with LB coming in and contributing early. I expect to see Ware make an impact, too. As far as fielding the same team as last year, I think that Ferg, Rivera, and Henry are all experienced pick ups that provide upgrades over their respective positions. Not to mentioned a little backup RB that has some experience.

I think I understand where you are coming from, I just think you're almost too pessemistic. I sure hope you're wrong on every count.

The only thing I really feel good about is our backs and the o-line except for RT. On defense, I think our line will be okay, but the rest scares me.

1) Drew Bledsoe is an immediate upgrade. Parcells will know how to use him. Look what he did with QC. Vinny would have been serviceable, but he didn't have the running game nor any deep threats to stretch the field. Let's see what we do when teams have to PLAN against OUR running game...

On point number one about QC, what did Parcells do other than allow him to start for a whole year. He didn't him a real running back, didn't get him a possession receiver and didn't get him a right tackle.
QC averaged 209 yards per game in 2002 and had 6 consecutive 200 yard games with Emmit on his last leg. QC averaged 206 yards per game with Hambrick.

On number 9. Are you kidding? Didn't you see what Burress did to Newman last year. Rothisname couldn't find a wide open Burress several times in the AFc championship game. Pittsburgh can afford to let good players go because they draft well.
