I may be going out on a limb but stay wait me.

The [interim] AD at Texas was talking about supporting strong despite multiple reports of miami's interest in him and strong not really denying the rumors.

If strong leaves for Miami for whatever reason and lsu makes the mistake of firing les miles, do you think Texas makes a run for him?

Every coach has flaws without a doubt and it's been noted that LM knows nothing about qbs (ut has not had a decent qb since McCoy anyway)but he's a winner and LSU is ALWAYS competitive in the sec and his record is pretty insane too.

I for one would welcome les miles, what about you guys?

Well I'm a Bama alum and I'll be glad to see him out of the SEC if that happens.

I think he's an excellent football coach and will be very successful for whatever school hires him. I know he's kinda flaky but he's a risk taker and I like that about him. I've seen LSU pull off some crazy stuff!

I doubt Jerry gives up on Garrett($$$).

I want to see Miles in the NFL. Maybe Miami(Dolphins) could be a landing spot.

What makes you think he'd work for Jerry?

What makes you think Jerry is willing to give up his "yes" man?

Chipper Might be a better call for Texas because of his spread offense.

Man has to learn how to coach a QB... his one downfall.
excellent coach beyond that.

I thought about Kelly initially and it's a fair consideration. I would only give the nod to miles because he isn't a few years removed from college and he would be still be coaching/recruiting in the same "region."

he should have been fired at halftime for trying to throw the ball against aggie instead of running it down their throat

You got me. I assumed the thread was about....you know, the Cowboys. Oops.

You failed at reading twice. This thread is in the sports zone and had nothing to do with the Cowboys or Jerry.

This is why you don't assume.

Nice try champ. You going for 3 tonight?

Hey, champ. You're the one ASSuming now. We already covered that it has nothing to do with the Cowboys or Jerry. I said in the 2nd post that I assumed it did, and recognized my 1st post was wrong . What's your problem?

Cajun is a wonderful nice lady & poster! Hate to see her insulted when it's so not necessary!

it almost seems like LSU was just trying to get some extra publicity.

I think they inquired about FSU's Jimbo Fisther, and once word got back he wasn't moving, they realized the landscape looked rather bare.
