I saw this at Blogging the Boys, and thought the idea was worth a view here...

(I even liked their picture)

We all are fans here on site. Yea, we have different ideas and views of what is involved with the Cowboys. Let us not forget that we all are fans and that's alright. Maybe some tolerance can be shown as well as genuine sharing on the basis of what is presented by other fans. I can take note of this as well.

This is a hum dinger of a season that we are about to take journey upon, and yea, share...

Let's enjoy this season, and bottom line, root for our Cowboys. Come hell or high water, they are our team. Show it for all involved.

To the Cowboys!

I’ve got an ice cold Shiner in hand so Cheers to a great thread!

Back to the Big D of things
With the rise of the defense, I’m starting to feel like the load can come off the offensive line and surrounding players. The front line has the global appreciation, but with Travis Frederick and Zack Martin banged up, the Cowboys need some help across the sidelines.

Running back Ezekiel Elliott was the potion for a good defense. With a better defense in play, things around Dallas are going to change.

Bottom line: Stayed tune. The defense in Big D is making a comeback...

Bottom line: Randy Gregory + Chidobe Awuize + DeMarcus Lawrence + Jaylon Smith + Byron Jones = Army

That's the way I see it. There are always threads telling us fans how we should approach our fandom, how we should dial it back, how we should view things. I just embrace the season and the opportunity to cheer on my beloved Cowboys. I want us to win as much as the next fan but I can do so without being overly opinionated or abrasive. Here's to a great season Cowboys!

BTB blocked me on Twitter after a spirited debate about trading for Earl Thomas. :muttley:

I read the whole post too. It would of worked really nice on here also. We are all entitled to our own opinions and I love how we are all passionate and we do lose respect sometimes but we all love this team and we are sick of being mediocre. We might not be a perfect fanbase but we are still better than Philly's giant toilet bowl

I'm cautiously optimistic, which is what I try to be every year. Some years, I've bought into the hype of the previous season and ended up disappointed. So now I sit back and just try to enjoy the ride no matter how bumpy it may be.

That’s right. It’s about the journey. Being a Cowboys fan is who we are, it’s in our DNA.

Don’t get me wrong, I want the team to win a championship, but I love and support this team and enjoy the entire journey.

And I’m proud to have a player like Dak Prescott as the face of our franchise. As good as he is a player, he’s also an all around great kid.

Here is why everyone who loves them some Dallas Cowboys needs to R.E.L.A.X.

  • In his limited amount of work, Dak Prescott has looked sharp. Completing 72% of his passes with 2 touchdowns and no interceptions, Prescott looks like year one Dak all over again.
  • Ezekiel Elliott is, without question, one of the top three running backs in all of football.
  • Even though there are questions about if Travis Frederick will play in 2018, the line is still really good. Tyron Smith, Zack Martin and La’el Collins are all still on this team.
  • Cole Beasley will have a bounce back year.
  • Michael Gallup looks legit.
  • We’ve seen about 1% of the playbook. Conventional wisdom would have you believe there will be some creativeness we’ve rarely seen from these coaches. I mean, their jobs do kind of depend upon it.
Now, I’m not promising you that you’re going to see a top five offense. You may not even see a top ten offense. You don’t have to either.

If this offense can be average (and with 16 games of Zeke, that’s very attainable), the Dallas Cowboys defense will do the heavy lifting necessary to get this team where it needs to be.
