Let’s Fire Garrett

So because people don’t think Garrett is the right man for the job, you want a plan laid out for you like we can predict the future and know what will occur?

Step one in the process of finding a new coach is identifying the need to start the process by firing the current coach.

I know that is difficult to accept because you are a big Garrett supporter, so let’s change the situation.

Let’s suppose Jerry is selling the team. Who is going to buy the team? Does that person even want to buy an NFL team? What type of owner will he be? Will he take a hands off approach or meddle like Jerry? Will he allow the coaches to hire their own staff? Will he have children that will occupy jobs in the front office?

Pulling names of rich people and creating a scenario in your head of what might happen won’t change the fact you want Jerry out as owner. We might get a worse owner than Jerry but you’re willing to take that risk, aren’t you?

Others feel the same about Garrett and creating an imaginary future plan doesn’t change that fact. Plus, lists have been created in the past for you on the old board with names like David Shaw, Jimbo Fisher, and Dabo Sweeny. It has been a worthless exercise.
I’m only supportive of Garrett because of the limitations with Jerry and looking for realistic solutions .

I’ve maintained for years I’d fire Garrett if Jerry was going to change his ways.

It’s worthless excercise if those aren’t realistic possibilities.

As usual no one has a realistic solution beyond firing Garrett for the unknown quantity within Jerry’s ways. But I’ll continue to ask.

Ah, the same argument the Rams made to keep Jeff Fisher past his expiration date. The answer is if what your doing isn't working, try something else..........anything else.
I’m all for that. Now who is your realistic solution coming in here working with Jerry?

He wants to play Devil’s Advocate against possible candidates and ask questions we can’t answer like “will he accept the position?” or “are you sure he would work under Jerry?”.
Yes, yes... all dead horses we've already kicked to oblivion in other threads.

But the issue continues to come up in threads across this board so it tells me it’s not a dead issue.

So, let’s put it out there front and center . What are our realistic solutions within Jerry’s parameters? Here’s your chance...

You can fire Garrett given the fact that a lot of the staff under Garrett was replaced by what seems to be the FO type of coaches. Realistically if Garrett continues to show lack of improvement in clock management, challenges, and halftime adjustments he should be fired.

Apparently not. And if it has been kicked too much for you. Move along..

This is for the fans who want Garrett FIRED!!
What was wrong with the other passel of threads discussing firing Garrett for? I won't move on when we have every dissatisfied fan wanting to start their own thread on the same topic. Stop being lazy by starting unoriginal threads, look around, we already have threads on the topic so add to those discussions if you want to fire Garrett.

Here's my chance for what? Repeating all the same blather that has already been said? It's like gound hog day and you get off on it.

Thanks for adding to the post count.

Your answer is replacing him with Linehan or Marinelli?

Ok..For the sake of argument . Let’s fire Garrett. Now what? What’s our next move? I’m curious for your solutions!!

Linehan is here to run Garrett’s offense . He’s gone too. Marinelli was brought in by suggestion of Garrett. Bye. Jerry doesn’t allow HC usually to surround themselves with their own staff initially so how’s this going to pan out?

Who’s the list of candidates Jerry would pursue and a list who’d be desperate enough or interested in coming here? Then who are our coordinators? What’s our offense ? Does it suit Dak?

Who’s coming in that’s going to make Jerry comfortable while still providing him the perception of receiving the credit he’s passionately pursuing?

Here’s your chance to change the Cowboys current process and course in history within Jerry’s parameters.

According to Jerry "Any number of 500 coaches".

That’s the problem with this thread. You’re not going to believe anyone who could be better will be a realistic possibility.
I might if there was a good reasonable answer.

It’s not just about what I believe it’s about what the general public believe.

Do we really have realistic solutions? Or just reacting to our frustrations?

Sell your solution to the Zone....
