and if he can return punts like he did in college then let him do that too.

Whitehead has some speed but he just doesn't have it as a return guy. I don't see any vision from him at all.

McFadden has 1 return and he just shows the natural ability to return.

Heck, I hope we sign back McFadden now that I think about it. He looks soooo much better than Morris in a limited role.

Nobody?

Also, Bryant is getting 5 targets a game and he was electric as a return guy early on.

PLEASE let Dez return punts in the playoffs. You got an elite Punt Return guy. LEt him do it instead of watching Lucky get 5 yards.

I've been begging for this since word that he was going to return to the active roster. I almost jumped out of my skin when I saw him take that opening kick. I don't think I'd use #20 on punt returns but I think he's a much bigger threat at KR.

I was on the fence about McFadden'a return, but his presence as a backup has been a welcome sight.

I agree he looked good on his return last night. I would have no issue getting the ball in his hands more on special teams.

Agree. Whitehead is fringe sauce. Let McFadden take KR & PR.

McFadden is more of an asset to this team than Lucky in all aspects of the game. I'm sure we can find someone else to do a jet sweep for a loss of 3 every game (yes I know it worked a few times ;))

McFadden is more of a straight-line return man with great speed. If the play is blocked well or he can capture the edge, he can do well, but it isn't like he's shown much when given the chance. Don't be blinded by his 30-yard return Sunday. Before than he had 1 return last year for 23 yards and averaged 19.7 yards on 3 returns the year before. Not a large sample size, but no reason to think he'll be any better than Lucky.

TBH, I would just as well take it at the 25 yard line every time. We don't have a guy who can take it all the way or consistently past the 30. More times than not, they don't make it to the 25 and after the obligatory 10 yard holding or blocking in the back penalty, we wind up deep on our end.

If we had a Tyreke Hill type player, then that would be different. But for now, 25 yard line please.

Morris was just a waste out there.

McFadden comes in, produces, and you can do some other things with him in the pass and return game.

We do some collegiate type things with our offense and why not have one of the best gadget college players of all time doing some of it for us..?

I've seen enough of Lucky that it's made my mind up that we need someone who offers something back there.

We can't leave anything on the field in the post season.

It's one thing to let Dez return punts in October but come January I want him out there in situations where defenses are pinned on their side of the field.

Let McFadden return some more kicks.

That's sure what I was thinking. I think the Cowboys should and will make this change. Whitehead doesn't have the vision to see the seams.

I don't see the obsession with McFadden at all

But Lucky is not good at KR/PR either

I like using McFadden or Dunbar on KRs and Dez on PRs outside the 20, Beasley inside the 20

Lucky can be gone for all I care

Lucky has potential but he makes too many mistakes.

He still holds the ball away from his body in traffic. His one punt return at the 45 yard line where he was being tackled he arm one arm on the ball.... mistakes like that cost playoff games. Ask the Niners when their returner fumbled two balls in one game in 2011 or 2012

Lucky dances around too much. He'll dance around for 30 yards but only come up with an 8 yard return.

The kick return is useless these days...95% of the time. Just take a knee
