Wouldn't you want a player to back up your starter with a similar skillset so as to not upset the rhythm of your offensive unit too greatly? Why would we have an old man back up an athletic QB who is really not of the drop back variety? A dead armed old inaccurate QB who gives us no chance to win football games. This is personnel gaffe of epic proportions to have this old fool in there at this point. heads should roll for this. this season is now on the brink of collapse.

JJ the GM erred at backup QB - this should be no suprise. What suprises me are those calling for Street free agent QB's to be signed and replace 40 year old Brad Johnson. It's a comedy of errors and poor judgement.
