Eric Reid was signed by the Panthers this morning. If the Cowboys do not trade for Earl Thomas, this would be a good season comparison to start for next year when the Cowboys will still need a FS.

I get it and understand the frustration. But this place, it is all that happens now. No real football / team discussions.

Eric Reid did not play SS in the NFL until his final year in SF 2017. He started out at SS only his freshman year at LSU and became the first true freshman to ever start at S in the LSU secondary. He won the starting FS position as a sophomore and played FS at LSU the remainder of his career and first 4 years with the 49ers.

I don't care what he did at LSU, or what he did his first years with the 9ers. He was most recently a strong safety and was so bad in coverage that they tried to move him to LB.

He's a guy you compare to, like, Kavon Frazier, not Earl Thomas.
