I have a feeling that it's no so much the WRs as the system (Garrett) and the QB.

I realize Romo's no Favre, but to see Favre go into a new system/new team/etc and be able to hit guys...either he's *THAT* good, or the system lends itself to being able to let a guy step in and succeed. Though, I think a big part is Favre (if not all of it). He doesn't seem to need time to "trust" his WRs and such. I know I'll get a lot of crap for this, but oh well.

The Viking receivers totally kick arse against our scrubs.

I think that has alot to do with how Farve looks so good early on in the system.

Seems anymore that good receivers are really a crapshoot...look at NYG. Everyone thought their receivers corps was poor...and right now Steve Smith would have to be a top 5 MVP candidate. He is ripping things apart. So dicey, it seems.

I agree with your post EPloco.

But I also believe Romo is a big reason as to why our team has two losses. Our team isn't good enough to overcome his mistakes. If he limits his mistakes we are easily 4-0 just like Favre and the Vikings.

Favre is not in a new system....
That's the same playbook he's played his entire career, the only difference is that he's not throwing it as much.
But, I do get what you're saying.

Hmmm... familiar system to the QB, less throws, a power run game to lean on

sounds like something Dallas should look into trying!! :)

let Romo, go,,,, be himself. not controlled

The only person that controls Romo is Romo....I think He has lost his swagger and has not had the correct coaching to put him over the top. I'm really worried about Him at this point.

Exactly. No new system for Favre. Terminology might be a bit different, but that's it.

What would help him out of a slump is if his WRs and TEs could actually line up correctly before the snap without Romo having to point them where to go.

Just a thought.

OK.:bang2:

First of all Romo has been in this system for going on 3 years so that is not an excuse. Secondly, Roy Williams is the same level of reciever as Bernard Berrian. They are fouth tier recievers. Sidney Rice vs Patrick Crayton? Witten vs Shancoe? Lol at the Vikings recievers being better than Dallas. It all falls back to Romo, but some just don't want to accept that fact. Pretty sad

Favre has 1 turnover right now I believe. Romo has 6.

And while I havent watched the Vikes anywhere near as much as our guys, when I have he hasnt missed open guys like Romo has.

It isnt debatable here, if he had even played AVERAGE football vs NYG and Denver, we'd be 4-0.

Yep. He's either hurt or just playing very poorly. One or the other.

People just dont want to accept it and belive its the coaching, but the coaching isnt making him turn the ball over or miss wide open guys.

The other things thats laughable is they say Garrett sux as a coordinator, but then they argue that we also have awful receivers. If the players are awful, what can any corodinator do?

That said, it isnt the coaching or the skill players he has, its the QB. Period. Average play= 4-0 record right now.

I don't know what's going on with Romo, but the errant throws are killing...

I don't really trust Red hair play calling but what can he do with a QB missing open WR? You can't run all the time.

Does Romo as health problem right now or brain problem? I don't know.
But hope he is going to figure it out soon.

Is Romo overrated or only on a bad momentary slump.....

Not sure how anyone can compare Williams to Berrian? There is a little bit of a speed difference there don't you think? Plus it's a little funny that you forget to mention Harvin? One of the most talented players in the league must of just slipped your mind? I'd think most DC would be a little bit more worried about the big play down field threats the vikings have wouldn't you?

What has Harvin done to say hes better than Miles Austin? NOTHING. I compared them because they are both number 1 recievers for their teams and they both are 4th tier recievers. Regardless of the speed difference. Neither of them get frequent double teams.
