Let Vick run within reason ..

Let him run within reason- keep containment with the DL and LB but do not let his WR's, or especially Crumpler, loose. Yes he can hurt with his legs, but he can't really kill you that way. Does not matter which one of his RB's will be playing since they are both less then 100%, and we are solid against the run anyway. The only way Atlanta wins if we let Vick make plays with his arm. Or we stink it up so bad like we did against NO.

i think alot of it depends on which vick shows up the one who makes good decisions with the ball and makes accurate crisp passes or the one who only looks to bust the big play all by himself he seems to have multiple personality's or somethin if he cant hit the broad side of a barn tonite force him to throw but if his passing game is on you force him out of the pocket and make him try to bust one after all he's small and doesn't carry the ball that well and is a pretty good risk as far as turnovers go

I think you make him make plays with his arm. Running leads to 3rd down conversions leaving our defense on the field and we saw how that work last week. I think you'll see a similar approach that we used in the Tennessee game against Young. Of course we'll all be wondering, "where's the pass rush?"

YOU JUST have to hold your lanes...i would almost rather we get a little pressure but not go out of our lanes...just enough to make him a little frazzled and have to get rid of it because if we get up the field on him i am afraid he will take off in those lanes...we all also know how bad our lb's are at taking down quick people side to side...we need to go zone...thats how you beat michael vick...he will throw picks dont worry...a little pressure but not alot if you know what i mean...

Its even more than that... I believe its more of if his receivers decide that tonight is a good time to start catching everything thrown their way. In Vicks defenses... they have dropped alot of catchable balls.

the best way to play him and negate him is to go after him and hit him alot...he doesnt do well against blitzes...he doesnt make quick reads and doesnt throw accurately when he has to use a quick release..also, more often than not he will try to run away from the blitzes and he creates alot of sacks on his own from running into backside blitzers

he's also extremely careless with the football and fumbles alot...if they hit him some he will turn it over
