Why would he want to go the Jets. Yes, he worked there before. Yes, his home is an hour from their training camp. But, otherwise the distance is meaningless -- Bill doesn't take time off -- he'd be at the Jets facility all day and would have an apartment right by there anyway. He'd be living the same life as in Dallas.

And Jerry could quickly go out and find one of the top coaches available, Mike Tice, Sherman souns nice. I think we should get Sherman if BP gets the boot. Pick up Sherman as HC, pick up Norv as OC, keep Zimmer as DC. That would be great!!!!!!!!

Why would anyone give up those picks for what is now essentially a .500 record coach with a one and done playoff record.

would not mind having the #4 pick but we would have to have someone really good waiting in the wings. We'd probably be able to trade up for one of the qb's leinart or young, or get a bigtime impact player.

Sherman, Turner and Zimmer????? Welcome to the 1st pick in 2007

Sherman is not a bad head coach at all. He gave Green Bay 5 playoff seasons in his 6 years there. Zimmer has given us the #1 defense in 2003, as well as #10 this year. Norv Turner is an awful head coach, but he is a pretty good offensive coordinator.
