If the employees keep coming up short isn't that on the guy who hired them?Under his leadership, a great roster has been assembled and many well established sports publications and analysts believe this team has all the talent required to get to the NFC Championship game.
The team's success will be about execution, which falls on players and coaches, particularly Dak and Mike McCarthy.
On schemes, calls, and personal preferences that falls on the coaches and scouts...execution, on the Head Coach. As to leadership in the offense, the offense was given to McCarthy and the defense was already Quinn's.If the employees keep coming up short isn't that on the guy who hired them?
Jerry owns it all, for better or worse. I will be happy to thank him in February.
I don't know what that last sentence means, but every coach and player on this roster is there because Jerry approved/hired them.On schemes, calls, and personal preferences that falls on the coaches and scouts...execution, on the Head Coach. Jerry hasn't long ago choosing for that Head Coach.
Jerry has for a very long time supported choices of his head coaches. In the last ten seasons, that has been the demonstrated policy in franchise. Jerry always has approval power as he sets contract agreements. That has always been the policy since day one of Jimmy, when Jimmy tried to just pry approval legitimization from Jerry, for his own prestige sake.I don't know what that last sentence means, but every coach and player on this roster is there because Jerry approved/hired them.
You can't go "Thanks for this great roster, Jerry" then blame the roster if they come up short.
The entire premise that Jones is a puppet of his own making is ludicrous.I don't know what that last sentence means, but every coach and player on this roster is there because Jerry approved/hired them.

hmmmm... seems like trolling to me.
We have been several times over the last 15 years. Like you said... all we can ask for going into the season is that we have a legit shot?Thank You Mr. Jones and the Front office : Stephen, Will ETAL
Let's get after it !!!!! We are legit contenders, that's all we can ask for !!!!!!
all teams are subject to the owners every whim... every single team in the league.I think you are 100 percent wrong. The Lance deal is all Jerry and shows the team is still subject to his every whim.
My one-word comment was a troll post?hmmmm... seems like trolling to me.
not your response.
I rest my caseI think you are 100 percent wrong. The Lance deal is all Jerry and shows the team is still subject to his every whim.
I missed this THREAD!!!Under his leadership, a great roster has been assembled and many well established sports publications and analysts believe this team has all the talent required to get to the NFC Championship game.

There is hope on this forum for a Superbowl run, as there should be.
That is in large part because of our owner and GM, Jerry Jones.
Thank you Jerry.
This is the problem. Peoplethink Jerry comes up ith any roster moves. He has people to do that. He of course has input but as we have seen even Jerry is overruled. Johnny ManzielJerry is responsible in that he finally has decided to let others make personnel decisions and has just stayed out of the way for the most part.
I will thank Jerry for a Title. That's all.Under his leadership, a great roster has been assembled and many well established sports publications and analysts believe this team has all the talent required to get to the NFC Championship game.
