Would have loved to get nnamdi but we dont need to overpay for a 30 year old. Newman will be back. Hell they could have orchestrated all of that right in front of newman to motivate him and drive up the price for all I know. Not saying that happened but we will get the old newman barring injury.

Cullen Jenkins. He is good but he will get hurt. Coleman will be there and he will produce. Most importantly he knows the system. This thing is far from over. I bet when its all said and done we sign two more safeties. A few o linemen and another impact player. Players that fit OUR system and know it. This team will play asATEAM. One unit reaking havoc. Wait oatiently. ROB knows what he is doing. I am not worried aBout losing bowen hatcher nnamdi or jenkins.

Oh, the mind of the homer...

The first wave of free agency is the over paying period. The next wave is where you find good value, at least in years past. If you have one glaring need, you can often afford to break the bank on it. If you have multiple needs, it is often better to wait and get good value for those players. I'm hoping this is the strategy.

This team is currently hanging off the edge without a safety net..........

Need a safety, probably two.

Without them, the team dops.

If this guy is talking people down from the ledge, it must be bad. Maybe I shouldn't catch up on all the threads I've missed in the last 24 hours.

What has philly done. Samuel may be better than nnamdi right now and they are about to trade him so they coykd be worse off. You saw nnamdi's stats from kc joyner. Jenkins has a 40 percent chance of not being on the field. may be trying to pull zn old danny. We know that doesnt work.

In before bbgun and his annoying everybody sucks drivel.

I can't begin to deconstruct all the denial and pettiness in that post anyway. Be my guest.

Oh the mind of an idiot

don't be so hard on yourself

recap: all of our signings will work out swimmingly, while all of theirs will blow up in their faces. is that about right?

We will have two new safeties within 72 houts ibet and they will be alot better than last years. No time to kneejerk.

Heyk efferybody, da cowboyz iz gunna be alrights!

Ok. Do you know anything about football or do you travel aimlessly about in stupidity?

Seems to be a lot of that on this board lately. There's a reason fans don't run sports teams. If teams hit the panic button like this, they'd be capped out in the blink of an eye.

The Eagles for whatever reason chose to spend some money this year but for years have been under the cap with glaring needs. Their Defense was terrible last year.

I'm ok with Dallas taking a cautious, responsible approach, although it's stressing me out. I have some faith, for once, that they have a plan.

Lol, are you completely deranged?

Their defense was "horrible?"

They were ranked 12th in overall defense last season and 21st in pts/game. Not the 2000 Ravens, but hardly "horrible."

How about Dallas you ask?

We were 23rd in overall defense and 31st in pts/game.

So what did Philly do to improve? They added DRC, Asoumugha and Cullen Jenkins....

What have we done? We resigned Spears, Alan Ball, so far. Basically keeping the status quo.

Oh well ....we missed out on a few FA we all wanted.....

and the Eagles grabbed a few of our favorite pets.......

Its not all doom and gloom....we dropped some dead weight....im excited to see our draft picks...we signed free and Koiser....

Im happy.....I didnt expect ASO.....I didnt expect Jenkins...just because Philly got them....they are now the preseason champs...and our fans are pissed at Jerry.

The Giants didnt do much and imho think the NFC East will be a dog fight.

Sure the Eagles improved.....but lets see how this season plays out.....I know Ware and Romo arent afraid of playing them.....Im not either.........will be a interesting year....

I dont know....but i havent lost faith in our D....sure we need a lb inside...and a safety and maybe a DE but I firmly believe that Ryan will do wonders as a DC here.....IMHO he is our biggest pickup.
