Honestly, everyone ...Do you think we would be any better than we are now at 3-3 if Romo had been in since the first snap against Jacksonville. I don't...So that said, I think we may not get any better but we certainly cannot be any worse. Opinions?

Yeah, I think we'd be better off had Romo been put in against the Commanders or at the least after the bye week. That was probably the most optimal time.

The perfect timing would have been against the Texans really, they didn't pose any real threat to the Cowboys and it would have been a nice time to see Romo get some game experience.

I wish we had just started the season with Romo. A change mid season just is a horrible sign. I had very high expectations this year. Not any more. I'm going to enjoy whatever we accomplish but I can't help but think if he was good enough we'd have started the year with him. His half of football kind of amplifies that in my mind. Too many critical mistakes.

I'm not a fatalist, but there's no optimism left. Not even a little.

With five games of experience under his belt the Giants game could of ended very different. That's of course asuming the three wins stayed wins, which considering the teams and points they scored is likely. So I say 4-2.

I'm not the first to say it but they did seem to have a bit of a spark in the second half that was lacking before. Not thinking that it will stay like that but the team looked different, having that from the start of the year and this season could of played out better.

Or against Tennessee who didn't really pose a threat, but gave Romo two weeks to prepare because of the bye week.

I think we have a chance to be better off and for no other reason than hopefully we will know where we stand at the QB position.

Wouldn't it be crazy IF, and that's a huge one, Romo leads the Cowboys to a win against the Panthers!

Why would I?

I ask because I thought that Romo gave the team a little spark. I am not saying he wont make ALOT of mistakes... but this kid gets right back on the horse and leads the team.

Who knows? maybe you are getting the Favre-like QB that you wanted... Favre-lite?

I dont think its a stretch. If we win I wont be that suprised. I liked the things I saw the other night. The team had life again.

Wouldnt surprise me. Panthers arent nearly as good as advertised, yet for some reason many of you guys think they are among the best.

And the only other team pulling a superbowl attending QB from the starting QB position...is the Cardinals, yet their unproven QB is a Heisman trophy winner/National Champion.

You really need someone to help you with your material. Consult Adam, Peplaw, Superpunk, Hos, Silverbear, etc. Because you obviously cant do it on your own.

I believe we would be 5-1 if Romo would have been put in in the 3rd quarter of the Jags game as I was calling for. This will be a very different team with him at the helm instead of Bledsoe.

Well it worked for the Pats ( although the switch was for other reasons) with a 7th rnd QB that nobody knew. I guess I could be really snide and say that we could be optimistic with Bledsoe standing there patting the ball and waiting....waiting.....waiting for the pressure to come and, for GOD's sake, never through the ball away to avoid it. Come on, now...Romo tried to press and make something happen and forced some bad throws, no doubt about that. He still showed something that Bledsoe couldn't. I think he's a cerebral QB that is actually a good athlete, not just a good ball thrower. He'll get better and I really doubt you will see as many forced throws into coverage like he did Monday. Now I'm not saying he won't make more mistakes or that we'll be playoff bound, but I think the upside is obvious. That alone should breed a bit of optimism.

Are you even gonna watch the games? I say give the kid at least one game to turn it around before you throw in the towel.

In response to the original question: 5-1 maybe even 6-0.
I've been on this kids bandwagon since his preseason debut.
I'm an original, first to stand on two feet, Romosapien!
My desire to see this kid finally start increased with each Bledsoe ball pat!
