Let's Give Cameron Lawrence a Try

Lee would be much better at WLB. One of his strengths are his instincts, which is a great asset to a WLB in a Tampa 2. We should have him there now with Carter at MLB.

Carter at MLB, i'll look at some tape and let you know? I just think that these triplets-Lawrence, Lee, Holloman-have the purest talent for pursuit, hitting, coverage and playmaking.

There is ABSOLUTLEY no reason to drop the MLB that far back into coverage; that's why other teams are eating our lunch!

Not my fault Albright had back issues and was released or that stupid Callahan doesn't understand that we can split Hanna out wide and use him like a WR, so he can can be another deep ball threat. Hanna might be in the doghouse for some reason, I think-probably off-field issues.

You and me both; and just to let some of the EXPERTS on here know- Lawrence was mentioned as a possibility to be called up to the 53 in this story a few days ago.

And how quickly you some of you guys forget Holloman's pick six and takeaways in the pre-season. The guy is one of best playmakers and needs to be on the field-period.

Lets not quit on Carter so quickly. The guy has talent, he will come around. We were loving him through a few games last year before he got hurt. Do not say scheme, carter was making plays then, he can and will in the coming weeks. I am hoping the benching lights a fire under him and he turns it around.

Carter has been burned in pass protection it's true but he is an asset against the run and makes good plays. Sims is a liability in comparison, and is not much better in pass protection. I liked what I saw in Lawrence in preseason as the Mike but inexperience will cause mistakes sooner or later. That said, I think it's time to insert Holloman on nickel packages with Lee. Sims and Carter are not getting the job done there.

I liked what I saw in Lawrence in preseason as the Mike... I think it's time to insert Holloman on nickel packages with Lee. Sims and Carter are not getting the job done there.

Ditto on Sims/Carter not getting the job done.

I like the fact we called up Lawrence. This can only improve Lee's play, namely in the nickel, and if it doesn't, let's see what Lawrence can do.
