Let's be fair here, and look at his season overall:

-9 games. One horrific game. 49ers.

-Not great against the Cardinals, but it's a brand new offense with early season redzone jitters that now looks like it's been fixed. Plus, we were out 3 Offensive Linemen and the defense seems to struggle against Dobbs for some reason. Misdirection plays maybe not our thing.

-Our receiving corps not considered elite besides Lamb. Cooks was barely active before this game. Ferguson hasn't done that much besides the Eagles. And Dak is still tearing

-He has no right tackle. Ok, maybe that's an exaggeration but Steele needs to improve tremendously in the next Eagles game.

-We're not known for a running game... and before today our running game is below mid tier.

-Altho he came short against the Eagles..... he was just a bad step out of bounce and a Schoonmaker half turn away from beating them. One bad step out of bounce shouldn't be what determines whether he's great or sucks.

Not sure why his haters keep degrading him, and not giving him the credit he's due. He's gonna be in most people's Top 5 this week. Only behind Stroud, Mahomes, and Hurts.

The haters don’t have the intestinal fortitude to admit they’re wrong about Dak. They’ll go down hating him till the end no matter what. Just watch how this thread unfolds with the haters taking over.

Y'all know how I feel about Dak.......but even as a fan I have to be honest.....this is probably the best football he's played with less. Lamb is playing some of the best football i've seen from a receiver around here in a long time.....but the offensive line is nothing like it was in 2016 and probably the weakest its been in years. Receiving group is probably the weakest he's had since 2018 prior to trading for Coop. Running game has never been this bad since Dak has been here. And the defense....even with their inconsistent play is probably the best D he's had here for the most part especially knowing Diggs is hurt.

He hasn't had to put this team on his back much but he's doing it this year. He has no choice.

Unfortunately not going to happen until he takes us to at least the conference championship.

That's the thing about Dak. He does this every year where he plays out of this world for stretches. It's what makes us forget about the past year, and think something is different....until the playoffs. The problems always arise in the playoffs and until he changes that, i don't care if he throws for 600 yds and 6tds every game. Get us to the NFC championship game, and then i'll give him his flowers

You've been defending Dak for years and he has been the main reason that the Cowboys have been a disappointment.
He played well vs the Eagles, but it isn't time to act as if the past seven years didn't happen.
Maybe he can show he has finally become a real quarterback, but he has only shown one bright flash in seven and a half seasons.
But he did play great vs the Eagles.
