Let's give Dak his dues

That's the thing about Dak. He does this every year where he plays out of this world for stretches. It's what makes us forget about the past year, and think something is different....until the playoffs. The problems always arise in the playoffs and until he changes that, i don't care if he throws for 600 yds and 6tds every game. Get us to the NFC championship game, and then i'll give him his flowers

yeah we forget about the poor offensive line play the lack of a run game at times shaky defense... I hear this defense gets flowers all the time at times I keep hearing about Zach Martin and the great offensive line that we do not have actually...

Our biggest issue in the playoffs literally has been a lack of a run game or lack of a physical offensive line and a lack of actual shutdown defense... This defense is supposed to be considered great they were wanting a big name and maybe buy a bunch of T-shirts and really they've been a giant let down in these big games all three losses this year could be contributed 60% to the defense alone...

You literally gonna blame Prescott for the 2021 playoff game against the 49ers when there were 14 penalties 11 on his own line and no run game?? This happened in 2018 happened in 2022 there is no form of a solid run game in an offensive line you cannot ask the quarterback to overcome all that against the best teams...
We're simply talking about the fact that he can carry this team in most games which in the past he has not but he's showing you that even without all those things he is playing great but in the games against the 49ers and the Eagles we need the team to actually show up...

People keep blaming Prescott and Romo and other quarterbacks for the problems that is not the problem the problem is the rest of the team there are four or five players ruining it for everyone...

Oh and lastly show me where Troy and Roger ever had to play without a strong run game a physical offensive line and great coaching.. Not once did I ever watch a game where they had to actually carry it by themselves... And when I saw the losses in the playoffs in Super Bowls by those two it was because something around them went wrong so they're not perfect they did not carry the team troy did not win that first game after Jimmy left against the 9ers because troy can't win games by himself.. so let's be clear here quarterback can not win big games iff their team have some serious issues..

sure was nice having some legendary coaches, linemen, running backs, great d play, helping win these big games..those are facts.. you are asking prescott to do something troy and roger never had to do!!!

I wouldn't call it his best,

I mean he might be doing it with the least amount of weapons, worst OL, lack of run game he's ever had...

literally had an 11 game win streak as a rookie played great in that playoff game..

had great stretch in 2020 before he broke his ankle we were losing because of defense, he was chucking it big time,

2021 37tds 10 ints 4800 yards in 12 win season hardle chump change ,

need i remind you of the hot streak in elevating the offense last season mid way post broke hand IR, like 6-7 games at avg 36PPG and tops in RZ% and 3rd down %.

Let's be honest here Prescott's always been good people acting like this is the time to give him praise is ridiculous.. yes hes doing more with less but hardly "his best stretch ever"...

Hes always been top 10 but have had stretches where he plays top 5.. The issue here is he can do this against the lesser teams because our team can, you don't get away with this against the better teams we need a run game and an offensive line and better D in the bigger games..

Prescott's not our issue.... Really in my opinion never has been.. You look at all those playoff games you're gonna find out the same problems where no run game lack of a physical offensive line and at times the defense gives up too many big plays

I think the reason people are calling this Dak's best stretch is how much of it is all him at the moment. I agree he has put up similar numbers for stretches in the past but I honestly cannot recall a stretch when he had so little support from the run, basically only one reliable receiver (until this last game) and this is easily the worst line he has had in his career. As good as this Giants performance was I am still more impressed by his 300 yards, 3TDs and no turnovers against the Eagles on the road .. 5 sacks and another 12 or 13 knockdowns and he just kept getting up, dusting himself off and kept firing. When you see that from your QB you know that's a guy you can win with. I won't argue that we need the run game to come along for the ride to get far in the playoffs.. but I feel a lot better about our chances to advance in the playoffs with or without the running game .. and Dak is the reason ..

yes i agree but here's the problem that this fanbase will think he can do this in the playoffs by himself and won't admit that the team deficiencies is holding us back , not Prescott... i don't know a quarterback in history of the DCV or the nfl that had to carry team through the playoffs without a run game and an offensive line.

I’ve been one of his biggest critics, and still am not sure if he can do this consistently, but he is playing very well.

I truly believe the formula for Dak is that he doesn’t play well until he runs and gets tackled a bit to calm him down.

Even in the Giants game he was kinda bad at the beginning of the game. Then he ran and got smacked a couple times and played extremely well after that.
