Not to mention they have yet to give up a sack to a defensive lineman.

we cant do that, according to the fickle majority he was a bad hire and the only reason he is here is because of Jones.

Seems like just last year Houck was being slammed now getting back into good graces. Funny how these guys go from stupid to smart so quickly.

I'm sure the criticism was too early. It's probably going to take about a year for an OLine to really get it.

I think these men who coach in this league have a better understanding of the game than the fans who call them idiots. None are above being called out when their units do not play well part of being a coach is to get your players to buy into what they are doing and how to do it but as for knowledge of the game these men in the NFL have more than a clue to what is going on.

What's it going to be then, eh?

It is also amazing how a returning and dominant Kyle Kosier can make the same stupid coach suddenly appear smarter.

Very true. Funny Kyle was known as the weak link a couple of years ago and became the missing link last year. Kyle has really shown how important he is to this unit. I very happy for him.

Yes, props to Houck. I don't know what the problem was last year, but right now the OL looks the best it has in years.

Adams and Kosier injuries didnt help, but that was just Houcks first yr too.

Kosier looks like a totally different player right now than before his injury. And the group as a whole is vastly improved.

I'd say it's simply adjusting to a different teacher...and the teach adjusting to his students.

Houck didn't really know the players and vice-versa.

I'd say both have an understanding of each other now. Still early, but the results look good so far.

The guy who deserves the real shout out is Kosier. He is playing excellent ball... time for him to get an extension.

Yep, I caught part of the Marty B show on the Ticket about half an hour ago, and he said Kosier was the key to the O line.

Of course, he was giving everyone on the team all kinds of credit. He said Witten was the best TE in the NFL, and said something positive about almost everyone on the team. Underneath the goofiness, he's really a good teammate.
