Dude played lights out on a bad ankle last night. He stonewalled the sack leader many times last night by himself.

Go Columbo. Go offensive linemen. Great signing of Davis.

Colombo played great and the O-line continues to prove they are the strength of the team.

Supposedly the LEAST athletic lineman. On a bad ankle. Holds the top rushing DE to 0 sacks. With very little help. When are SOME here going to stop trying to replace him?

It's Colombo. And yes, he is awesome! :)

and still very young --if his legs are good, he should get better and be there for years

When Columbo signed in the off-season, it was reported that the understanding he had with Jerry was that if he repeated last season's performance that he would get a new deal for 08 rather than having to play out the final year of the deal he signed in 07.

Well, Columbo hasn't repeated his performance of 06, he's improved considerably and he deserves to be paid as a top RT.

He got a two year deal in the offseason, right? Seems like Jerry would want to lock him up to an extension and a longer deal after this year.

I should have waited two seconds...

i don't think we can afford both flo and colombo. but flo is 33, and colombo is still comparitively young.

i hope JJ extends him (coclombo)

Affording isn't an issue, we are in very good cap shape with a considerable roll over to next year despite all the new deals and extensions we signed recently.

I don't think we can afford to NOT sign these guys. The O-line is a huge part of Romo's success this year - when he's got to run around and improvise, he makes mistakes (like most QBs) - this year he's shown that he is deadly when the line takes care of him. Romo has only been sacked 16 times this year - last year he had to avoid sacks, this year the line is keeping him clean.
