I know we have some glaring issues at the moment but the solutions are obviously not available at this time. What is available out there right now are players no one wants....let's just be patient and what positions still need upgraded I'm sure will be addressed after the Sept cuts when there are better options.....the team knows what they are and are obviously looking to fix them, but if the solution is not currently there it's just not there.....we didn't get Robinson last year until like game 2 I think.

we as fans do not make this up.. We have NO center, we are bringing in a center who hasnt played in 5 years. Year after year after year the biggest weakness of this team is never addressed> it took Jerry 15 years to fix our CB situation... But our safties still suck... Listen bash us fans who complain all you want, but the facts dont lie.. This team is mediocre at BEST and NOTHING suggests it otherwise.. NOTHING!!!

If you don't think the Cowboys are a good team and you think they'll be a 7-9 team, then cool that's your opinion and no will change it. It's just annoying to see everyone panic before we've even see they play a pre-season game yet. If the Cowboys o-line struggles throughout the pre-season, then yeah... there's reason to panic, hell I've even panic then. But like I said, no one's going to stop you from complaining and pointing out obvious issues.

Let's see how the Cowboys do in the pre-season and if those obvious holes are not fixed or we don't see improvement such as the center position, the interior o-line or the defensive line, then... you have my permission to panic . Hopefully someone catches that line...

I remember in the old days that every year I thought we could compete for a SB. And guess what? We did. We might not have won one every year but we were up there. I just don't trust this team anymore. They have let me down so many times. When I hear this stuff coming out of training camp, my first thought is "Here we go again." Nothing ever changes. I just wish this team would surprise me one year and live up to the talent that they supposedly have.

Then why do you watch the games? Why are you Cowboys fan if you live in a state of negativity? Sorry for having a little hope that this team is headed in the right direction, didn't know that was a crime on this forum. You think you have it bad? I'm 21 years old, I haven't even witnessed a Super Bowl or a NFC Championship appearance. I became a die-hard Cowboys fan during the Campo days, but I never gave up hope. At least some you guys out there have witnessed Super Bowls or even late playoff runs. I refuse to be a negative person and think my team is going to choke every year or melt down in December. If it happens again, whatever... I'm still gonna go into the next season with optimism. Like I said before, if it's a crime to be positive or have hope for this team... show me the cuffs because I'm committing a crime then.

That reminds me of the time I was playing golf with a group at Wolf Creek in Mesquite Nevada. We were standing on the course near the edge of a cliff overlooking a canyon. Everyones response was "what a beautiful view." Except for one guy in the group who's response was "This would be a great place to dump a body."

I'm not concerned. Most of what's in question is depth. If Monday's game was for real then many of the players we're holding back from practicing due to injury would be playing. Besides, having some holes going into 2012 was my expectation because we're in year 2 of a 3 year rebuilding plan, as I have always said.

Yep, I agree 100%...which is why I'm not under any illusions about this upcoming season.

We're going to have some serious holes on the team that are going to cause real problems throughout the season.

Period.

Fix them next offseason, and then contend in 2013 and beyond.
