It seems to me that Jerry Dumbo GM Jones is at it again. Many believe that Moore and Nussmeier should go. But was it a negotiation of you take my coach, I take yours.

McCarthy you give up Rob Davis, Quinn you give up George Edwards, and I will then let Moore and Nussmeier (who was suppose to be Moore's successor) go.

The George Edwards thing boggles the mind because this man got more out of washed up LBers Vander Esch and Barr than we thought they would get. Rob Davis has literally been with McCarthy since the beginning (KC), and he was Director of the very need of the Jonesboys....player development..

So did the Cowboys lose a lot of experience and knowledge to get rid of a coach that had no experience to be an OC when hired, and no knowledge of how to use and develop players? Or, will Moore join the long list of players and coaches that have left the Country Club to have greater success somewhere else (see OL coach Frank Pollack, )?

We're buying time until Dak's contract is up or manageable to release, of if this new regime can salvage Dak in bigger games. This is what it comes down to. The coaches currently, were good, but have maxed out with the player. Incomes the new staff, see if we can salvage this, we were a top 8 team, we need to move that to top 2.

Edward's was not the Linebackers coach...

Edwards title: Senior Defensive Assistant

LB coach: Scott McCurley

Yet Damon Clark and Jabril Cox have had ZERO development. I think Jerry got sick of us drafting linebackers and getting nothing out of it. Hopefully someone comes in and unlocks our young guys.

Those are 2 LBers were coming off injury. So there is so much time you are going to get to develop. I hate that Jonesboys draft philosophy of drafting injured LBers (Carter, Lee, Smith, Vander Esch, etc.). Maybe Jerry Dumbo GM Jones needs to stop drafting injured players and he might get something out of healthy LBers.

Cox was injured in 2021 with the team but look good until the knee injury. It usually takes a year to get over that type injury. So there goes that development 2 years down the drain. I really liked him out of college both N. Dakota and LSU.

Actually Edwards was a Cowboys Linebacker coach before he was DC with the Vikings. Considering he developed Pro Bowl LBers Dexter Coakley, Dat Nguyen, and Anthony Barr, and coach Arrington, Armstead, and Trotter in DC, I think he knows more about developing LBers than Scott McCurley.

LB play has been disastrous. I’m not sure how anyone can defend it. And it’s not just skill or talent. It’s the way the backers react. Watch the 9ers backers and how the read and fire. Then watch the Cowboys. It’s night and day. The change needed to be made.

I can defend Edwards. The problem is not your LBers. You have no DTs that can keep OL off them. LBers is your 2nd line of defense not the first line. Landry and Johnson freed there Linebackers to make plays with Stud DTs and DE. You do not have that on the DL so your LBers are going to suck at their jobs because catching OL is not their job.

You're all wrong, the head shot came from the grassy knoll.
This. Someone blew up and colrized the Moorman photo. You can see Zapruder secretary looking directly at a guy in the coilinade with a gun. You can see the muzzle flash on Nix.
