I think he will move past TC.

What a run and extra push for a TD

I paid attention. I thought he looked great and is a tough gritty runner.. .exactly what we need when fighting for 1 yard or later in a game when the defense is tired and you are trying to pick up first downs etc. I like this kid and he plays with a ton of heart and doesn't go down easy.....unlike Tashard Choice.

I have to believe that after yesterday's game Tanner will be No. 2 until Felix gets healthy.

choice is our number 4 back. Wasting carries that we could give to our other backs and wasting a roster spot.

#1: Murray (your N-S Bruiser, who can also swing outside)

#2: Jones (Yor E-W, chane of pace speed demon who cna laos kill you on screens)

#3: Tanner (has a mix of qulaities between Murray and Jones)

#4: Choice (or "Always a Yard Short" as I like to call him, is a sure fired fumbling machine whose mouth is bigger than his earned playing rime. He'll be active as long as Felix Jones is out. Otherwise he'll be inactive).

Looked like a young Barber then way he fought for extra yards last night

Dallas Kimball product probably grew up a Cowboys fan and is living his dream. The kid showed heart and desire in limited preseason carries. I have waited for him to get into a real game and see if he was still hungry after verily making this team and I think he showed he wants to be in the NFL. I think he should be our short yardage back if nothing else, just find a way to get him a few carries a game and let him work. I love Demarco and Felix as well and this trio of backs would compliment each other to maximize our offensive output greatly in my humble opinion. :starspin

I think Tanner being in there on that series tells you that TC is no longer trusted by the coaches with his 2nd fumble on so few carries

I like Jones Murray and Tanner these are the kind of players you root for. They work hard unselfish and they never complain. They are very talented they are everything that TC isn't.

I love how Choice acted like he got "hurt" after the fumble.

...did the same thing against the skins a few weeks ago when he ran out of bounds...the guy is a gutless wonder.

...his young legs and his hunger. Choice has none of that. Truly, I think Tanner is similar to Bradshaw of the Giants: very similar in style although I think Bradhsaw is about 7-10 lbs heavier. But I'd take ahmad Bradshaw 'light' at this point...kid was an undrafted free agent for crying out loud.

Didn't he do the same last weekend after is fumble in New England

It also seems as if he has great balance.... something that is extremely important for a runningback.

Choice, on the other hand, seems to go down way too easy.

I believe tanner will leapfrog choice and become the third back, and hopefully take over the short yardage responsiblities.

Tanner runs with good lean and determination.

I have thought he should be our short yardage back since watching him run in the preseason.

I hope he gets some more opportunities near the goal-line and in short yardage in the upcoming weeks.

Could our Murray and Tanner be our top two runners even when Jones returns from injury?

No. Felix is a great back when he does not have to carry the full load
