I don't know if he's going to win the MVP or if we're going to win every game but we need to stop dancing around it. Dak is playing the position better than any other QB in the game and has been for some time now. It's no longer about whether he's top 10 or "elite." It's about is anybody better. The argument could certainly be made that Purdy is certainly on the same level but that ignores the fact that he's getting WAY more YAC than Dak is and the main statistical advantage Purdy has right now is yards per attempt by 1.5 yards I believe and that is almost completely a result of the fact that the Niners' receivers are averaging 1.5 more yards per catch than the Cowboys' receivers. Purdy is clearly ballin, but Dak is ballin more! But at this point Dak and Purdy are 1 and 1a at the QB position. Nobody else is playing as well as those two.

Dak got 142yards max last game vs his extremely low 129 cay and 5.4 cay/completion. Just fyi it was actually a lot more yac than any one seems to be talking about. Also offense disappeared the entire second half so there’s that as well

And of course, the Chiefs are STILL a winning team, and likely to finish up at 12-5 and still have a legitimate chance at the #1 seed in the AFC (Their competition has much more difficult schedules to close things out).

The guy is a once in a generation talent that has either been in the AFCCG or SB EVERY year and has his team in contention with zero talent but a TE around him. he's done a pretty good job of that this year, despite the pass blocking being so problematic early. out of qb's who's started 13 games, only purdy, goff, love and surprisingly minshew have taken less sacks. and we're talking 3 or 4 less

He’s definitely been a better QB this year, just pointing out the things he can improve on that will help us stay in manageable down and distance.

Dak doesn't have to be considered the best QB in the league in order to help Dallas win games, win playoff games and potentially win a SB. He just needs to keep playing at this high level.
