So with five games out of the way and a few more coming up that are going to be harder for the Cowboys to win let's try to predict the next few games coming up. Remember they are 4-1 at the moment and is sitting in first place at the NFC east with the other teams close by.

At Packers: Loss- I'm going to honest here if the game between Cowboys and Packers turn out to be anything like the game we all saw between Giants and Packers this is going to be bad. Eddie Lacy is going to be a problem if he runs like he did against the G-Men if he can play next week. A-Rod is nearly perfect at home at Lambeau Field, in fact, the Packers has yet to lose there this season.

Ezekiel Elliot will be tested next week since GB is number one rushing defense in yards per gain and most of the teams that the Cowboys face this season were never good in stopping the run game. I think that the packers are going to win this one but I hope I'm wrong.

Vs Eagles: Loss- Yeah yeah I know, me giving the boys back to back losses? You must think I'm crazy or something but the fact is that Carson Wentz despite getting is first int is dominating so far as QB along with that Eagles's defense. The Eagles defense is second in yards per gain and third in rushing defense so far so it going to be hard for the Cowboys to win this one even if it at home.

This one was hard for me to choose simply because of Romo coming back as QB because you have to wonder if Romo can stay on the field or take some sacks and keep on going. Still, I think Romo can stay on that field as long as that O-line does it job against that Eagles front seven. We finally get to see these two teams play against each other and on sunday night football where both team battle it out for first place (I think they're going to play for first place here as I see the Eagles beating the Commanders but losing a CLOSE battle to the Vikings) and I couldn't have it any other way but all things considered I think Eagles win this one.

At Browns: Win- Well if every team that been facing the Browns for the past couple of weeks are winning against them why not Dallas? Even if this is an away game I see Dallas winning this game with a good run game and QB play. Though I do think the Browns will have a good running game but they got QB problems right now and I think that going to cost them in the end.

At Steelers: Win- I will be a bit optimistic here and say Romo plays against the Steelers here at Heinz Field and leads us to the big W here. But I must say, this is will be a good one if both teams are at their best with Romo,Dez, and Elliot vs Roethlisberger,Brown, and Bell. I must say it sad that this game won't be on sunday night football and instead be on fox but still.
Why do I think Dallas will win? The run game, because Dallas needs to win in the time of possession and keep the Steelers offense off the field. Fortunately for us, the Cowboys are great at doing that.
So these my prediction for the next four games leaving them at 6-3. I know some of you are going to disagree but tell me, how do you think the Cowboys will do in the next four games?

Going 2-2 over the next four games certainly isn't an outrageous prediction. It is fairly likely actually.

If you count the Browns as a win (which I hate to count anything as a win ahead of time) winning one of the 3 tough games of Pitt, Phil, and GB is definitely doable. I think there is a pretty good chance of Dallas winning two of those 3.

GB will be tough, for sure, but Dallas is really getting their confidence going and are a dangerous team when they play their physical brand of football... they can win at Lambeau. Many of the players will remember the 2014 game in GB when it was single digit temperature and they went in there and beat up the Packers physically. Dallas will have confidence about playing there.

Pitt worries me because their offense is so good and the Dallas defense just isn't an elite unit. They're not as bad as many said they'd be... but the Steelers will be difficult to stop. Like you said though, control the clock and play keep-away from Big Ben and Dallas could win.

The Philly game is going to be hard because the NFC East games are almost always difficult. These games I usually see as a coin flip if the teams are close in record.

2-2 is a safer bet... but I still can see 3-1... and if Dallas comes out of this stretch at 3-1, look out. They're going on a run.

I hate predicting further than 1 game out because all it takes is an injury to single key player to completely change the equation.

Based on what I saw in the games TODAY, Dallas can be VERY competitive with Green Bay. But one single injury to a key Cowboy in the Packers game, and the equation can totally shift for the Eagles, Browns and Steelers games.

Do not bet against the Cowboys, even in GB. This team has "it" right now, whatever "it" is.

At the moment, week 6 of ths season, we are better than we were in 2014. Anything is possible.

Predicting future wins and losses never seems to go as it seems it should. We always win one that we thought we'd lose and visa versa. But at this point, after taking a look at the rest of the schedule, I don't see this team going any worse than 10-6. I think the division boils down to who gets the better of who in the Philly match ups. Philly wins convincingly over the Steelers yet falls to the 1-3 Lions after coming off a Bye. The Cowboys need to do some serious tape study on those two games. Philly has the more difficult schedule facing the 3-1 Seahawks and the 4-1 Falcons where we get the 4-1 Steelers, 1-3 Bucs (going into tonight) and 0-5 Browns. Basically, both of our schedules are equal aside from these games. If we can win the games we should, at least get a split with the Eagles and pull one of the GB, Pitt or Minn games out of a hat, we should win the division. Hypothetical, yes. But you have to like where we are right now. I don't think any of us thought we'd be sitting at 4-1 right now and sitting at the top of the division. Especially after bungling the first game of the season against the Giants. Both our offense and defense seems to be improving every game. We're winning with key players being out and our rookies are looking Pro Bowl caliber.

There's much to be written on the story, but it seems that the worm has finally turned for our Cowboys. I couldn't be prouder of this team.
