1. Team implodes against GB in the playoffs. Jerry is pissed and wants to fire MM but is too cheap to pay two coaches. So he rides out the last year with MM. Refuses to improve the roster to “punish” MM.
2. Season goes as planned and we are not competitive in any way shape or form (injuries did play a part for sure)
3. Season ends. Jerry then comes to the realization that no legitimate coach wants to come here. He tries to save face by bringing MM back but then low balls him and probably wanted to add a bunch of ridiculous stipulations assuming (wrongly again) that there is no way MM will say no.
4. MM tells Jerry to take a hike.
5. Jerry looks around for a coach that will work for minimum wage, will do whatever Jerry wants, and won’t complain when handed the cheapest roster possible.
6. Exactly one person qualifies for the requirements in 5.
