That's the thing, you can't accuse the guy of not being serious like you can someone like Ralph Wilson because Jerry has spent more this year than almost any owner in the league (with the exception of Snyder if I'm not mistaken) to ensure that this is a "serious" team.

Bingo. I see that garbage with Ralph Wilson first hand every day. Bills fans around here more often than not mention Jerry as a guy who at least wants to do what he can to win. I have no problem really with Jerry the owner, I believe his passion. I have a problem with Jerry the GM sometimes.

How do you think Jerry acquired this team? Do you not realize that people refused to buy tickets at the end of the Landry/ Schramm/ Murchison era and on more than one occasion there were blackouts? That was in a 65k seat stadium when tickets were 35 bucks. People who live in Dallas have lots of outlets for expendable income and they are a fickle bunch, look it up for yourself. I witnessed it before. Jerry is giving away tickets so it wont be blacked out now.

Yup, he's doing all kinds of shady things to ensure that the games are "sell outs". Norm was saying that just about every one of those seats on the 50 in the club area are filled by Cowboys employees because they simply can't sell them.

I won't lie, the idea of not renewing went through my head a couple of times this off-season, then I figured I'd give it another try. The stadium is impressive, don't get me wrong, but it's not football. I can honestly think of at least 10 other NFL stadiums I'd rather be at, just for the experience alone.

Those seats on the 50 dont count towards "selling out" a game. Also I very seriously doubt Norm in his "just about all" of them assessment. But in the NFL it doesnt matter if 1 club seats sells its general admission that counts towards a sell out.

Jerry on the sideline again after another lack luster performance. Is he really concerned about us losing, or is he trying to convince cowboy nation to continue to spend big bucks to watch this overrated team. This coaching staff is awful! I like coach Campo, but does he really believe Alan Ball is a starting NFL safety? It baffles me how this owner and coaching staff misuse their personnel. Why is Marion Barber starting? Why are we not utilizing our best players to their fullest potential? When Romo screws up and makes horrible throws, why can't he accept responsibility for it? If you want all this nonsense to change, the cowboys must be sent a message. Stop filling up cowboy stadium and enriching Jerry ultil he decides to get serious about winning around here. As long as the cowboy faithful continue to fill up the stadium and pay ridiculous prices for food and merchandise we will continue down this path. As a loyal cowboy fan, I hate to see the team going down this path.
