I know you guys are dizzy by now with the draft and the player profiles.

I am.

new concept

I think one of our biggest problems by far is the inability to win at home consistently.

Been that way since we built AT&T.

If we can win more at home..

we win like in 2016.

We play lights out on the road.

How can we change this.?

Until we do..we will never win a title.

How can we address this?

here..see what I mean about road games.

Feel good for a moment..be sure to click on Watch on YouTube link.

This is always a topic during the season. Cowboys fans are good fans and we usually have a good home crowd.

The problem is that if you’re a fan of another team and you can pick one road trip per year, you’re almost always going to pick the game against the Cowboys.

For that reason, opposing fans always pack our stadium. Sometimes they’re loud and obnoxious.

Not really sure how you change that. Some teams force you to buy two tickets at a time, but scalpers would just do that then sell the singles.

When you win, fans get rowdy. Rabidity is a function of victory. 8-8 just generates the occasional clap. Want rabid fans. Just win. Give the mob something to yell about.

There is obviously no accountability for playing like crap at home in front of fans who pay good money to be there.

As soon as there is it will change.

I think the novelty of the stadium will continue to wane.

How can we change this? Play in the Cotton bowl. The true rabid fans would come. The corporate atmosphere would disappear. Home field advantage would return.

I’ve never been a fan of domed stadiums but there’s something to be said for playing in the elements and on natural grass. I live an hour south of Pittsburgh and loathe the Steelers but when the weather turns cold and that wind is blowing in off the river it creates a distinct home field advantage and brings out the savagery of the fan base.

maybe its becuz we don't have Crazy Ray anymore..?

Let's reinvent him for ATT..

he was a good luck charm for sure.

Jerryworld is a preferred road game destination for people who make one road trip per year. That, and the Cowboys haven't been a scary team for a while. Fans get to see something different, and feel like their team can win.

I hate domes, and the Cowboys might as well be in one since they rarely open it up. I'd play outdoors on grass. You can still cover the seating areas, as they do in soccer stadiums in England (and did at Texas Stadium). But that ship has sailed, as football is just one many events held in these oversized arenas.

My nephew is a ticket broker in Dallas.

He says for the big games..

people sell tjeir tickets for sizable profits.

Mostly to out of towners.

There is one answer.
