* Marion Barber should be the primary running back with J. Jones as the change up player.

* Roy Williams is a liability in the passing game AND the running game.

* Romo is the real deal.

* Jason Garrett is an amazing offensive coordinator already.

* It will be tough to win against a quality team with DBs playing 10-12 yards off the line of scrimmage.

* Spencer is getting better. Dallas is in a good position for next few years with Ware and Spencer.

* I like how folk kicks...hits it straight on. You dont see the the ball hook much on his field goal attemps. Great poise for a rookie.

* Garrett needs to toss that screen play to Hoyte. It didnt work last week and it didnt work this week. Stop trying to throw him the ball...he is an ex linebacker for goodness sake.

I would have to agree with all these, As much as I like Roy and Julius, they both need to step it up. I would like to see the screen to Anderson or Fasano but Hoyte does have rocks for hands. But what does Pete expect from a linebacker?

I second that emotion.

They are comparing him to Favre. I think he's better than Favre ever was right now...... and is getting better.

You make great points.

I am a huge fan of Romo. A lot of that is because of how good he is, and how great it is to have a steady and capable QB since Troy.

Roy Williams and Julius Jones need to be shipped out. I'm hoping Barber can be ready for a full load next year. Because unless McFadden is an absolutely cannot miss talent, I want to draft defense in the 1st round. That can be either saftey position, CB, or DT. This offense is real good.

Lets hope Newman can return soon and that can spark this defense to be just above average. If they can do that, this team can go very far.

McFadden is a can't miss talent. I watched him against Bama last night and the kid is a complete STUD!

LOL... Roy Williams needs to be shipped out? ok!

And Tony Romo being better than Favre ever was? A little over-board there.

I can't argue with any of that. ;)

Lets not get out the anointing oil yet!

Okay you can get out the anointing oil, but lets not put him in Canton yet.

Favre was pretty good at his best- but he was always over rated!

I agree with you. He played well today.

Regarding the comment about shipping him and JJ out: Williams?? You're crazy! JJ?? Even if Barber starts we need someone to give him a breather now and then. If you mean ship him out at the end of the season, that's a different thing altogether.

I don't think Barber can carry the load for 25 carries a game. He'll wear himself out. I like the rotation as it exists.

He won't get any appreciation for me until he is not a liability in pass coverage. I'm not asking him to be Ed Reed, but I long for the Roy Williams that was paired with Woodson.

I agree. While I think Barber is the better RB, our system is working perfectly fine.

RW played a very good game..the type of game he is suited for..closer to the LOS.

Good tackling and saved several plays from being big gainers on short passes and quick hitting running plays.

And his INT was just great.

So I think you can wish RW was Tnew..but he isn't. He's actually pretty much like Woodson was for us if we can allow him to stay within 10 yds of the LOS.

Past that area, the similarity to Woodson fades.

I think a great deal of what happens with RW in the eyes of the fans is that he's replacing a Cowboy Legend and no matter what he does, in people's mind, he'll never be as good.

Not fair.

This is a different team and different schemes and now if we are to believe that this Phillip defense is different than the BP 3-4..

..this is RW's 3rd defense he's had to adjust to.

Remember..Roy Williams was originally drafted to be a SS in a standard 4-3 defense.

What he's playing now is pretty different.
