well i have, i didnt buy a $58 dollar new cowboys jacket i saw at walmart

and i have a friend that was going to buy me a ticket or 2 for the new stadium this year, im going to tell her, dont buy it for me, so im doing my part to say im frustrated with this whole mess

Like I said in another thread, if fans are so disgruntled and frustrated about their team, why don't they just stop buying tickets to the games and team merchandise? That always gets an owner's attention.The complaints don't mean much if you keep putting money into a product that you're not happy with. But for whatever reason, fans don't want to go to that extreme to show their frustration. IMO, that's the most effective way to force changes to be made.

I'm not buying anything or going to any games til this crap is straightened out. I was planning on going to the new stadium this year but now I've decided to wait.

My measely little $600 to $700 for a trip to see the Cowboys will have no impact in the grand scheme of things BUT that measely $600 to $700 can be spent somewhere else.

Yes, but not one person can do it. Takes hundreds of thousands of fans to agree. And as long as the teams winning percentage is average to slightly above average, Jerry will do just fine.

I'm well aware of that, I was just pointing out that that's probably the most effective way to make it happen.

I would say that 99.9 percent of the people on this board fall into the passionate fan catagory.

I will not buy a hat, T-shirt, sweatshirt, watch, nothing that would help jerry profit off of the mess he is selling.

I'd love to see the new stadium half filled next year on opening day. That would be the biggest slap in Jerry's face possible. The message sent loud and clear would be "hire a GM or else".

It'll never happen though, that stadium will be over flowing with Dallas fans approving of this mess.

think about the schedule, seattle, san francisco, whom we beat last year, oakland, washington twice whom is improving while we are going backwards as a team, eagles whom have enough money to sign hous from bengals & get gonzalez the Te, giants twice, denver with a new coach now, falcons, panthers, chargers, rams whom killed us last year, saints whom killed us 3 years ago, bucanners with a new coach, packers where we have to play probably in frigid weather next year.

now where do you see alot of wins next year, i sure dont,

and like me you probably thought we would beat the cardinals, rams right, what happened in those games?

i just dont see it, not with this team, im looking now with my head as a person that knows pro football and other teams that work and practice hard, need i remind you, Haley whom knows most of our players right and left, now is head coach of chiefs, we had a chance with a win there with their ex coach that got fired, but with haley now, i dont see it,

so tell me, where do you see alot of wins this year, and be realistic too, not leading with your heart like i have the last 12 years

:laugh2: Do you really think that if a couple thousand fans blew up VR's switchboard that it's gonna make JJ change how he runs his business? Unfortunately, change will not happen unless JERRY wants it to happen...I don't know why some don't get this! If you wanna get Jones' attention, the only way is through his pockets! If JJ's new digs aren't sold out or if Dallas drops in merchandising sales, then Jones will see the true frustration of the fans. If you want to "revolt", that's where you should start!

Jerry will just have the number changed or turn off the switchboard. :laugh2:

The problem is all you do is cheat yourself out of a jacket that you would like to have.

Jerry Jones cut on that jacket is pennies on dollars. It will have no effect on him at all because someone else will buy it.

Don't cheat yourself over frustration. Oh, and wear your Cowboys gear with pride and admit they are a mess. Defuse the bomb before it can even go off.

Do you honestly care that much about what other people think? You act like wearing Cowboys gear will some how make people think you are the reason for the dissappointing season. And if people are laughing at you, could it not be that they are really just laughing at you and not the clothes you are wearing?

The "getting 4 quarters out of a dollar" joke has been used throughout history to describe many different football teams. Don't let it get you down. It's at time like these where being proud to be a Cowboy's fan is it's most difficult but it speaks highly of your character if you maintain. Or are you going to be a Judus and deny your team? That's really not cool.

Besides, if you think that joke is bad, what does Broke Back Mountain and Dallas have in common? They both have Cowboys that suck!!! It's just a joke. Get over it!
