Let's stop all the haters and slobbering stuff.

Most of the people who had their doubts about Prescott have admitted he is playing great this year.

And the Prescott defenders have admitted that he is getting a ton of help this year that every quarterback needs to be successful.

Our team is playing great, our running backs are outstanding, Zeke is playing like a guy worth his contract and Parsons is playing like a star this year.

Our receivers are making multiple plays a game, and Dak seems to have chemistry with all of them.

And this young defense, man what the heck do you say about them. We are seeing Diggs transform into a generational talent right before our very eyes, I have never seen this combination of aggression, tenacity, and ball skills in a corner, and he can tackle .

Our rookies Parsons and Osa have helped transform this D into a thing of beauty, and we still have so many on the way including Cox and Joseph.

The offensive and defensive coordinators have been incredible this year, I cannot believe the change from last year in such a short time.

And although it won't be popular, I think McCarthy should get a lot of credit as well …. I do not agree with a lot of his game management decisions, but this team has been focused and hungry and has overcome a lot of injuries.

This is a long season and we are not even a 3rd of the way though it yet, we will have some bad games, we will probably at some point lose a game by a big margin.

But I already think this team will bounce back from it.
Let's enjoy the success and ALL start rooting for Dak, Zeke, Diggs, Parsons, Gregory (that's toward myself), and all the other players of this team and stop are petty squabbles on who was right or wrong about a player.

People need to really get over this part about "game management". As someone who has coaches/referees of all levels in my family, I have to get this off my chest......at any level of any sport, coaches but also referees/players/management make bad decisions sometimes as you all know. It's called being human. Some fans just don't want to give McCarthy any credit for developing and establishing a focused and disciplined team. In my opinion, this is one of the main goals and the most important of a Head Coach! This is what establishing a winning culture looks like, it takes time people. I get it, there have many years of disappointment but you have to be rational about criticisms sometimes, not too overly emotional.

I've been hanging around Cowboys message boards for over a decade, and I have yet to see a plea thread gain any traction. Every season there are thread consistencies, "can we stop with" "pump the brakes" "put away the anointing oil" and "can we all agree on" the fact that these threads show up every year suggest to me that a cease fire is not likely.

Just my opinion, not suggesting that anyone change their opinion. It just seems to me that the best we can hope for would be to respectfully agree to disagree, no matter how frustrating or how often we may have to do it.

if Dak is having a bad qtr, bad half or has few bad plays, we are allowed to note that during our in game conversations about the game and post game without being labeled hater , correct?

i mean being honest about plays from games, stats are real, plays are real they arent made up opinions, yet some here , wont mention his or her names, get best of of shape of you say something like, "Daks having a rough start, that was a bad pass, or man that fumbled snap and/or INT can really hurt this team.

want to be sure where the ground rules lay..

seems other players are allowed to be critical of when simply stating what wee are seeing during games yet Daks got teflon coatings on his uniform..off limits from critique?

Right and when i asked most of them "your so dug in on this its going to suck to not be able to happy your team is winning" Most (most not all) said "no if we win I'll be on board" ..I'll give a few credit as they stayed to thier word...some are now obviously not happy about it as they can not post unless its negative..again some not all give the ones that stayed to thier word credit.

Any fool can see Dak is playing great. Its admitting they were wrong. Then some of us will move on.

And as far as the Prescott defenders admitting he needed help, there is nothing to admit. We told all the haters EXACTLY what the problem was and it wasnt Dak. WE TOLD THEM!!

The haters called these things......................."excuses".

Once again the Dak haters show that they dont understand QB play or football.

I said bad day, but some jumped all over him when he threw a pick early in the game on Sunday.....no rules....haters and homers all have different time frames..

Appreciate the kind responses, I am as much to blame as anyone in my attempt to defend Dak and Zeke and my bashing over the years of Gregory.

Gregory made me eat that crow ...... And Zeke and Daks play speaks for itself.

I am ready to just enjoy the games and the forum and stop arguing with people.

Well said! 21 games since Garrett and a big difference. Culture, accountability, an actual plan, a lot of talented young players developing, competition at every level. Night and day when you have a HC who knows what he’s doing!
