Let's talk about Ken Hamlin

Unless there was permanent brain damage it should not affect his judgement or mental ability. There seems to be no reluctance on his part to hit people.
I see no reason why he should not do very well and keep the job for good. I do not think watkins in any way has shown the mental ability to make calls and the instinct one needs to do that job well.

He recently knocked himself out hitting Jackie Battle. He did suffer a concusion tho....

If Hamlin show "solid" skills at the free safety position, then we have a find. We're not looking for all-pro skills, (although that would be great) let's just remember that we're not going to have STARS at every position.

As long as he can defend a pass-in-the-air at this point, i'd be happy.
