Seems like the last month or so we have done well in reducing our penalties.

Honestly, given that we drew the Hochuli officiating crew last night, I expected there to be a lot of flags thrown. And there were -- just not on us.

Cowboys: 3-35
Titans: 10-124

Say what you will about other aspects of this team, but it seems at least that we have greatly reduced the number of dumb penalties lately. This obviously bodes well for the playoffs.

to quote that great philosopher...our penalties have been...way down.

:flagwave:cowboys point of emphasis:flagwave:

we will see what happens with the line shifting around. Not saying it will be a problem but that is where most of the penalties come from....the OL. Holding, false starts, etc.

Yeah I gotta admit that last night was a big hit to my theory of the league wanting to keep prime time games close.

But maybe that’s part of the plan to deceive us.

Make it look good. Plausible deniability.

mwahahaahahaha.

This is not the most talented team heading into the playoffs. We also have key injuries. We need to play relatively mistake free football to even have a hope of doing some damage in the post season.

This is a good team, but not so good that they can consistently overcome each time they shoot themselves in the foot.

I am looking for Dallas in the final game to exhibit efficiency and consistency. I don't want 40 point game shoot outs. I just want clean and consistent play.

This will result in a better chance for us on the scoreboard. Keep penalites and turnovers to a minimum or non-existent and watch this team compete.

What stunned me was that Sean Hocculi was the same ref that threw 14 flags on Dallas a year ago last Thanksgiving versus the Raiders. This time he only throws 4 - with one holding call on Tyler Smith being declined.

We are still 30th in the league for the year.

It's been very impressive!
