After the Commanders game I made a thread with the exact same thread title, word for word.

The thread went platinum by people on this board who called me a "troll" and shouted me down b/c I made the thread after the Cowboys defense only gave up six points to the skins.

Now I see the dozens of posters in that thread, talking tough today about the defense. You guys didn't hold this team accountable as fans and now you are too late.

I wish I could up the thread and expose some posters on this site, but it was closed and deleted b/c people seriously thought I was trolling.

My point of this thread, is from now on let's stop with the name calling and the questioning of someone's fanhood just because they are a little more critical and forward looking than other fans.

The fans who have been critical regardless of wins/losses....I salute you. :starspin

Your post has nothing to do with the title of the thread. This is one of those "look at me" posts that shows that hindsight is 20/20.

Now... want to talk about the team's physicality?? well, they got their butts kicked on both sides of the ball. There really is not much more to say about it.

actually it is about that, I tried to up the other thread, but was told to make another one instead. I just had some things to get off my chest first.

when was the last time you could say "the cowboys have a top 5 physical defense in the league"?

some teams might be bad, but you at least know you are going to get a hard hitting game (Ravens, Eagles, Steelers, Jags, etc..)

this team doesn't have that identity, and I don't know if a new coach is enough to bring that in.

Every game is different, and individual games do not make a trend. It makes no sense to complain about a defense after they shut an opponent down, just as it makes no sense to complain about lack of turnovers a day after we got the INT's and fumbles we got last night. There are plenty of other issues that popped up in the game last night that merit more attention.

I watched an interview between Newman and someone on Fox Sports Network before the Minny game, they were discussing the prospects of Newman having to tackle Adrian Peterson. Newman was half joking, but he said he would make a "business decision" if the circumstances arise that he had to take down Peterson. He said he hoped the big guys up front would take care of him, so he didn't have to.

This is the lazy, soft mindset that has infested this organization top to bottom and needs to be fixed by the next head coach. PHYSICALITY on both sides of the ball.

wade has brought his soft culture to our team. Newman wouldnt say that if bill parcells was coaching the cowboys right now. Wade just makes players soft and weak. Please keep him from dez before he turn him into another marion barber (someone who was physical and punishing would be tacklers who now can get tackled by any cornerback or just simply trips and falls over a blade of grass or turf.:lmao2: )

One of the callers made a great point on talking cowboys. He was talking about how the Giants decided to double Ratliff and let Brooking run free and it paid off big time. Brooking didnt make anything happen and the double team owned Ratliff. They didnt even try to block Brooking on a lot of those runs and he still couldnt make a play.
