Let's talk about the Cowboys schedule, first six games

I don’t see Gallup back before hallloween due to the time table.

If we beat tb I think we will have a strong start….if we start off with and L I think we might go 1-3 to start before we get some momentum going

Possible 2-4 with a loss to the Eagles. And if the Cowboys do manage a win against one of the better teams they will have a stinker against one of the bad teams. If WFT can get decent play from Wentz they could be better.

Catching Tampa early is a plus given their OL issues. It's unlikely we sweep the division again and that game @ Philly easily could be a loss.

I’ve been looking at the first 8 games instead heading into our bye. 5-3 is best case scenario IMO and even 4-4 will leave us in good shape for an easier second half schedule .

That’s all that really matters with this franchise. They have been, and will be, the same as the other NFC juggernauts (Detroit and Washington) until proven otherwise.

OK. So he's lost 6 times to NFCE teams. The odds we go 6-0 in the division again is unlikely. Philly is the best team in the division other than us. They likely will lose at least one game in the division this year. That game in Philly seems the most likely.

We've got a decent team. Not sure if this offense gels early on. To me, it's contingent on that. I think our defense will be fine.

I'm not saying we will go 1-3, but I think we could start 1-3 and go 10-7 at the end.

I don't think 10-7 wins you the division, unfortunately. Philly won 9 games last year with Hurts being a boob and nothing at WR other than Smith. They added AJ Brown, Hurts should improve, even if not that great still and they have a ridiculously easy schedule on paper. They could get to 11 wins.

And before the homers all lose their ****, I am not saying Philly is winning 11 games for sure. But there certainly is the possibility that could happen when you put down the goggles and look rationally at the landscape.

People are putting a lot of stock in Turpin to make house calls but regular season is a different story. I'd be satisfied if he gets us much better field position than we've had in recent years. Some 40s and a few starts across the 50. House calls would be gravy but I'm honestly not expecting more than 2 during the regular season.
