I got caught up with all the drama surrounding our team, but I'm just gonna try to concentrate on football, enjoy the games and keep watching the growth of some off our young players. Let the chips fall where they may. None of my whining about Roger, Garrett, Linehan etc. Is gonna do any good. So, who's ready for some football?!?
Our offense will need to step up and keep Wentz on the sideline. Don't think we can win a shootout without Zeke and Smith. Time of possesson will be huge for us.

Dallas has won 6 of the last 10 games between Dallas and Philadelphia.

Philadelphia is about a 10 point expected favorite in their home field...but if Morris and an offensive line supported by Bell, can make 3rd downs short yardage, the Cowboys have a chance. Lawrence needs to have a good game against Philadelphia RT, Lane Johnson. Demarcus leads the NFL with 11.5 sacks...for a reason.

Watch us win and lose to SD lol

I would really fear that if we win. That will be a major high if we win and then another game in a couple days.

Primetime Sunday night game and a thanksgiving game should be illegal and no 11 day break...just another Thursday game.

Wonder if they will use Looney at TE to help on the left side?

Yup. Besides the fact I really do think we can beat the Eagles I could see this happening because that's what the Cowboys do.

The eagles offense likes to hurt you in the center of the field. Wentz has shown he prefers throwing the ball inside the hashes. This has turned former 1st round bust Nelson Aguolar (sp) into a legit threat from the slot. Zack Ertz can’t block worth a crap but can hurt you down the center of the field.
This puts great pressure on our LBers and Safeties. I’m concerned about this for sure.

I hate being negative but if I am the Eagles I like my chances playing a cowboys team missing Sean Lee, Zeke and T. Smith.

The eagles score a lot...a lot...
Can we find a way to keep up...

Several things that will spark debates.

We play well, and win, especially if Dak carries us to that win. This means a lot going forward, not just this season but for years. Also the defense must play solid. The coaches need to show their worth to come up with a game plan without Lee. If they can't and this d is all about Lee, we for sure better get new coaches, as no one player the sign or draft will make that big of a difference, unless that player replaces Lee and is not injury prone or made of glass.

We win, gives us hope for rest of the season, no matter how we win. Some will still have hope if we lose, and usually I would, but that has been tested more than ever this season. more from the coaching staff than the players. We still need players, but we need better coaching more.

If we lose, no matter how close or how bad, it may fuel the fire to the usual, coaching and / or players. Bt also we may as well look at the draft as well. do we still pull for a WC though unlikely the way it seems to be going, or do we pull for a better draft pick. hopefully Lee's replacement. We will probably have fans on both sides of that.

For me, I will probably just want the season to get over with, get onto the off season and hope the FO and coaches (hopefully an entire new coaching staff) finally get their heads out of their butts on FA's as well as not getting to cute in the draft. I really don't have a big overall complaint with the drafts the last few years other than they just can't stay put, just draft, not try all this trading or picking players to be red shirted, or trade all these future picks like a 5th next year for a 6th or 7th this year.

But this game will send many of us in different directions of thinking.

A big win cures all though, and we all need to be cured.

The Eagles aren't just beating teams folks they are blowing them out. This just sucks that we don't have those three guys. Would have been fun to see how we matchup.

If anyone needs to step up it's the freaking WR's on this team. None of them scare anyone.....

Jerry is a loyal man to those loyal to him.

I don’t see JG going anywhere even if we lose every game the rest of the year.
Jerry likes the relationship he has with the staff.

Eagles had extra time to prepare for this game
Yes, and unless their coaches allow complacency, this should be a win for them.

Actually, I have us losing Sunday and winning a very ugly game on Thursday. This place will look for rays of sunshine and run favorable scenarios for the remainder of the season. We will see threads proclaiming this guy or that guy to be a “beast”. We might see threads saying ———— is a great RB and we can do without Zeke ( can we trade him to the Browns for their entire draft, etc?. ). Then, if we lay an egg against the Skins, doom and despair will rein for days and days. I have little faith in the coaches if we are less than 100% healthy.

Comes down to winning the battles on the line of scrimmage on both sides of the game. DL needs to be lights out to compensate for the loss of Lee. OL needs to dominate to give our running game a chance and give Prescott a chance to make plays. Question is....can this happen?

For sure, that's the best solution to have hope for enjoying the game. I intend to keep all my expectations of winning at arm's length until they show encouraging signs of doing so. That way, it would serve to minimize the frustration of not seeing results that might not fulfill my desires.

Since Philly has the NFL's #1 defense vs. the run, our ground game will most likely find it difficult to produce a ball control offense. Having a well-balanced attack will likely be mandatory for success. Dak will be required to be at his best and locate his receivers quickly to avoid pressure, sustain drives and score consistently enough to win.

Defensively, we'll have to make sure to contain their running game effectively on early downs and in probable passing situations, assert steady pressure on Wentz to keep him constantly out of his comfort zone.
