Let's talk about the Quarterback

I get the reflex to both sides this thing, but does everyone realize that one side (essentially and some absolutely) is actively wanting our team to lose? And for the next 3 years.

Can people see the difference?
Ask zoners, and see what responses you get back.

Can they see the difference ?

Who knows.

I detached myself from the hate and became content with the team at the start of last season.

Mid season, I was all for defeating the bills and dolphins.
They were key games that would of convinced me about our SB chances. We know how it went....

The play offs against GB was a kick in the teeth.

But here we are, a good team and we go again.

Do we break the 28 year spell?

Hmm I'm not so sure, but a healthy regular season campaign AND a deep play off run would make me proud of our season.

You can call me a loser and claim my bar is lowered if that's how our season plays out.

And I can/could live with that label.

But I won't entertain a back and forth pointless discussion about it.

Life is to short.

I believe he was top 5 QB's last year for sure. We will see how this year plays out. But not every super bowl winner was a top 5 QB it does take a team to win!
I don’t know if that speak more to the over all quality of QBs in the NFL, or Prescott’s abilities.
IMO it’s the former.

Man did he look good Sunday, did he not?

We have one of the top QBs in the league, how fortunate we are as fans?

Very fortunate I'd say.

At least 3 more years with Dak.

Our Superbowl chances are high, are they not?
I can't wait for the playoffs implosion.

We already know Dak's good enough to get this team to the playoffs. He's our best bet to do so again in 2024. Let's appreciate that fact and hope he'll be able to do what he's failed to do in the past and that's getting as close to the Super Bowl as possible, if not there, in the future. Drafting a QB in one of the early rounds in the 2025 NFL Draft likely wouldn't be a bad idea, either.

I'm confused. What "side" wants us to lose...and why for?

I remember Dak went down and when Coop took over a loud roar to "tank now" happened. Talk about wanting our team to lose!

Hard to now find anyone admitting they said it....oddly.
Show us this “loud roar” please.

Of course you can’t.
I was telling one of my friends I threw out all of my Cowboys gear and he was shocked. He said how would you feel if they won a SB. I said there is no way that could happen because that would require Dak to beat 3 good teams in a row. How is he going to do that when he can't even beat one good team. He said true!

We’re not allowed to call people out, but they don’t hide it. Look around after a loss vs after a win and you’ll notice the them.

It’s also easy to tell when 90%-95% (not an exaggeration at all) of their content is about Dak being horrible or someone on our team or a player being overrated etc.

Quitters quit when the going gets tough. Just a matter of intestinal fortitude. Some have it, you don’t.
