Seems theres things going around that Lewan has the same personality of Incognito. That cant be a good thing for his draft stock. I would take him tho.

I'm not going to pretend to know Lewan or anything but there is a pretty good sized line between over aggressive meat head and absolute sociopath. I would have to have some evidence to believe a claim like that.

Hope we draft this guy. We'd be set at OT for the next decade. Could not get to the podium fast enough!

Jerry is willing to forgive some immaturity from players but i wonder if has crossed it,i think if they bring him for interviews then we can safely saw they view him as a potential target @16.

Last time Dallas had one of these attitude guys was Colombo and he played some serious football while he was healthy for Dallas.

I'll take him in Dallas because Sean Lee would put him in place or Tyron Smith.

Thanks for reminding me of this. I can't stop watching it. Also, I would take Lewan in a heartbeat. I can't think of a better way to change the attitude and philosophy of our line than to draft physical mean lineman. Unfortunately, we would draft him and spend all next year in 5 wide.

It's about that time for some to start leaking stuff in hope that great players like Lewan will fall to them in the draft.
Right on queue.

Incognito's on-field personality was manageable, IMO. It was his off-field / locker-room personality that was the problem.

Players like Erik Williams and Marc Columbo has nasty personalities on the field but were locker room leaders.

He stomped on a player and swung a helmet at a guys head... ON the field. I am not saying Lewan is Incognito, but that sort of behavior is not managable.

Incognito is a you know what. But these guys are playing a violent game. What do you expect. Just seems like Martin was just a pansy. I remember Strahan talking about this and said he went thru this same thing with a vet player in NY forgot the name. But one day he just had it out with him and it stopped.

Lewan was getting payback IMO from the yr before. Guy got punched by a Michigan state player

Incognito was cut from the Rams because of his personality.

Incognito was cut because he's never really had a big salary. His personality played a big part in it. But if he was making 5-7 mil a yr he wouldnt have been cut.

He was benched twice in his final season with the Rams for direct confrontations with the Head Coach. He was released for the same reason. He was not released because of a lack of ability or a lack of need at the position.

Pass, getting narc'd on by two of his teammates makes me think the allegations against him are not baseless, and if they were not ENTIRELY false I wouldn't even sign him as a UDFA.

Lewans roommate in2009 was accused of raping a girl and Lewan was reportedly trying to intimidate the victim into not cooperating with the police by threatening to rape her, according to the victims friend to whom Lewan related the threats and two of his teammates who I guess heard him talking about it. Police told him to cut off contact with the victim and the player was later expelled after Michigan was shown to be covering up the investigation.

Obviously a he said/she said situation but I would not want a person who did those things in the league regardless of whether he thought his roommate was innocent or not.

Also I do not find that facemask twisting gif as compelling as some of you may, that crap belongs on the Lions or Saints
