The secondary is starting to shape up. Add in a LB or two and a couple on the line and this defense should not be a weakness next season.

Dare I say that the offense needs a bit more work in the offseason?

Yes. I would love to see 3 or 4 new receivers but that's just me. I keep saying it, I'm the biggest Beasley fan on here but he's sucked too. Maybe he deserves a shot to make the team but he doesn't deserve to start. Why can't Switzer play? He can't be any worse than all of them honestly.

Read somewhere that Lewis Chido and Brown were targeted 21 times yet only gave up 105 yards total.

Lewis especially denied Crabtree on several attempts

Gave up the scores and had some bad penalties too. Good and bad, hope the guys work out

I think they both are very very promising.
They are aggressive, can tackle and lol to have great man to man cover skills.

They gotta learn the nuances of the game but the future is bright. I just wish it wasn't in rhis scheme.....

Agree. Man coverage is good, including Jones. How many times do we have to think ok they have to go 90 yards to win and a long way for a tie. Boom raiders do it but for the ultimate clutch stop by heath. Couple that with collingsworth praising this bend and break defense.

Good point he has a very quick release and a receiver who is in Snyc. With quick hitter routes around the goal line.

Zeke is coming back so we should see more man to man again and the WR's should play a little better.

If the pass Rush continues to get better and we add another 2-3 pieces in the secondary/ front 7, I have a feeling we will be next year's Jacksonville.( I love their Defense)

Even when tjey got beat i wasnt mad because they were in position. That pi on Lewis was b.s. btw.

Chido got eaten up twice for touchdowns. Lewis gave up a 55 yard PI when he didn't even look for the ball. Raw is still raw at this point. Agree that they both have lots of upside, but the jury is still out in my mind how quickly they get better. Might have a total different feeling if I was looking at coaches tape. PS. They both play better then our Safety's at this point. Give Heath credit for the play at the end of the game, but he had a great chance for a fumble recovery and don't forget two of our cornerbacks dropped easy interceptions during the game.

And still Won with rookies That are still growing!.. That actually can play the ball I'll take these lil lumps for playmakers... Im cool with the CBs performance... It'll gt better the more they play soo hey....

I feel much better about the CB position with Lewis and Chido than I did with Mo and Carr. It's a good feeling knowing the Cowboys are actually building a 2ndary for the future.

Yes. Jones as a safety has not looked good this year.

I like their physical aggressive nature. not sure if its a fit for zone defense, but they need to play man and be physical.
