DeSean Jackson -- 2 rec 29 yards
Jeremy Maclin -- 3 rec 44 yards
Brent Celek -- 3 rec 39 yards 1 TD

We really need to give a hand to the defense this week, this was simply outstanding football and to shut down a guy who has been on fire this whole season.

Much love to Wade and the D for going lights out tonight!!!!

They got up and challenged philthy's WR's. That had to be point of emphasis number 1. Notice how inaffective Jackson is when he isn't getting free releases off the line, loved it!!!

Wade is friggin' Football Godlike!

Seriously great job BIG D!:starspin

I think this board was overrating these Eagles WR way too much...not saying that he's awful but Jackson is a speedster and pretty much a one trick pony to me.

Though I'm not taking away from our corners because Newman has regained his swagger and Jenkins has been playing like a man possessed.

Earlier today I heard some guy on NFL network say that the Cowboys bring the pressure because their corners aren't that good. :laugh2:

So when are we going to see some Mike Jenkins love threads.....from the Scandrick pundits....?

Can the Jenkins / Newman duo be considered amongst the leagues best?

Jackson has been pretty spotty. He had two catches for 9 yards in the opener and one catch for 1 yard against Tampa Bay. He's made some long catches, but here are his number of catches each game -- 2, 4, 6, 1, 6, 2, 3, 2 -- and he has caught less than 50 percent of the passes thrown his way. So, he usually catches only a couple of passes each game, and if you avoid giving up a deep pass to him, he's probably not going to do much against you.
