Sure. And the top QBs in this league, minus Brady have been taken in the first.Yes it's a crapshoot to some extent. But the numbers are what they are. You can take the route with the best odds of getting to a SB (draft a QB in the first round) or take the route that has worse odds. It's that simple.
So, I don't disagree with your post, just that I hope the team doesn't reach in the first just because a QB fell down to pick 27 but has a lot of question marks.
Not too many late first QB's turn into Rodgers or Lamar Jackson that I can recall.
