Please no!

Bump.

I thought the booth was bad. Tirico is actually solid - very underrated. Jaws is an Eagles guy, and he doesn't mind telling everyone how he's an expert, but I like him, and he does know his stuff. Tony just doesn't fit. I like him a lot, but he just doesn't fit. He's constantly doing what I hate ESPN always doing - he's shaping and telling the story before there is a story. I hate all the editorializing; just talk about the game please.

I think my biggest problem tonight was not knowing anything about injuries. Unless it was spelled out and I missed it because of my little boy running around, I didn't hear anything about Roy's injury. I thought they were talking about personnel packages. What's the point of the sideline reporters if they don't actually report anything?

I actually dont care that Jaws is a homer, it adds to the game, but he was acting like a brat

"Thats a penalty? Uggh whatever you say, I thought we were playing football not tennis"

And then after Wade said we were shooting ourselves in the foot more than anything w/ the gift TD's and stupid penalties he goes "What game is he watching? The Eagles are marching up and down the field"

Just that second a grapic popped up where they were averaging like 2 less yards per play than us and Ratliff stopped Westbrook for minus 3.

It's Kornheiser. He brings the entire booth down. Tirico is tolerable and even though he can be an Eagle homer at times, Jaworski is decent as well. Kornheiser adds nothing to the booth. Get rid of him.
Kornheiser sucks on MNF but he doesnt bring dwn Tirico he's bad regardless i would he's intolerable especially his voice. Jaws eh i used to think more of him when he was first signed to be the analyst i think theres a lot better analysts like the fox analysts i think are the best!

Agreed on Kornheiser. I, too, like him. But the schtick just doesn't work during a MNF broadcast. He's too much of a one-trick pony during games. "BRETT FAVRE! JESSICA! TO AND DONOVAN!!!!" And when he's talking about these things, he brings no unique angle -- it's just the same stuff that's already been said.

Yes, we know Rodgers has the weight of the world on his shoulders. That T.O hates Philly. That Jessica is now intrinsically tied to the team. etc. It doesn't need to be talked about all game long.

They want the broadcasting to be a production, which I'm all for. I don't think MNF has to be all Xs and Os. It can be a more fun broadcast geared toward the average fan. This group just fails at it IMO.
