Desperados news

The Desperados have signed former NFL Pro Bowl tackle Lincoln Kennedy to a two-year deal.

Kennedy, who played for Oakland last, has expressed a desire to get back into football for the past year and met with the Cowboys during training camp in Oxnard, Calif., but did not work out. He also talked with Washington and Tampa Bay.

According to his agent, Scott Casterline, Kennedy has dropped considerable weight in the past few months. He hopes to use his time with the Desperados to possibly return to the NFL.

I like Lincoln and hope that he's able to get himself into shape and return to the NFL. Maybe even with the Cowboys. He wasn't a bad player and could offer some veteran depth if nothing else.
