Line and corner aren't high on my list

Just based on the numbers of the roster and what not I really want to see someone develop from within.

We didn’t win crap this year would you really be concerned if next year they get goofy and start

At corner I think there’s enough there. Develop them.

Develop your OL that have 3 first rd picks on it already!
 
After Revel you have nothing as an outside cover corner . Reddy Steward is fine a slot nickel replaces Jourdan Lewis on the cheap but he’s not an outside CB . Better find a young talented CB on a rookie contract to cover someone in the draft for next season . CB is a mess on this team as is safety
 
There's definitely not enough at corner. I'm ready to call Carson a bust. Josh butler is a jag. Bland is a low confidence slot player. Diggs is gone. Revel will have to make one if the biggest jumps we've ever seen this off-season. Corner is terrible right now

Corner depends a bit on Diggs. Likely he's gone but there's a chance we bring in a d coord that wants him and turns it around. OL I expect them to draft a player mid to late but if we're truly moving Smith to LT it solves a lot of issues.

Overall I agree, neither position group should be where we have to focus resources. Better edge, safety and a change in scheme could see the corner room perform fine. They're not position groups we should pass up in the draft if they're clear BPA either though.

in virtually every loss its been the D that gave up the plays that lost the game
and in almost all those cases it was the pass D that failed

Safety is your last line of Defense and ours suck

Every defensive position is a mess other then DT

The Cowboys need to take the best player on the board. A top flight corner, offensive lineman or a running back for that matter would improve the team. The Joneses have to be serious about free agency for all of this to work out.

Man that secondary is a shambles . Corners & safeties . You’ve got the DT situation looking much better and like I’ve said Clowney Houston and Ez is a good start at Edge .

The second and third levels of this defense are unacceptable for any success .

100% agree on OL.

CB is a need but it isn't as high as others IMO. You have to hope Bland and Revel look better next year being fully healthy and Revel having some snaps under his belt. As a prospect in this class he would be in top 3 CB discussion. I would go sign a vet nickel?

Edge is priority #1 IMO followed by LBr and Safety. All big needs but without a quality pass rush it doesn't matter how good your coverage is.
 
We still cannot get to the QB enough, look at our sack count for the year.
They absolutely HAVE to be players in free agency this year as we do not have anything outside the 2 first rounders to bring us starting caliber players.
Now, how we draft depends solely on who we bring in before hand.
We need to fill DE, LBer, CB. SAFETY, and maybe a RT as well.
Really is a year to be active before the draft !
