At the LV Hilton, already down to 2.5...early money going on us...may be down to 1 or pick em by kickoff...go figure...???

there is a major difference between early money and smart money

the majority of the money, without a doubt, is on Houston...with that being said, it appears that the smart money, indicative by the drop in the line, is on the cowboys

Good. Have to admit I was nervous about the Bears game because the line opened at 9 and some books had it down to 7 at game time, which means all the money was riding on the Bears and Vegas was looking to bring Cowboys money in to even it out.

I hope this line gets down to 1 or 1.5.

I think Dallas tears them a new one.

It's how they maintain their focus and intensity after next week that I'm more concerned about.

home team always gets 3. no big deal to me

No offense but that's just an old wive's tale. Has nothing to do with giving the home team 3 points at all.

Actually it's true. It's adjusted from that.

Dallas either plays a '09 NO type game or implodes badly....there will be no grey areas in this game.

I dont agree w this at all

nobody is going to anihilate this team..especially not the frickin Houston Texans..

Weeks 1 and 2 have been in that grey type of area...I wouldn't rule out week 3

My money is on the latter...

you want to put a wager on it? I will even give you the 3 points that I can get from vegas..

Dallas wins this game outright

No, it's really not true at all. All Vegas cares about is setting the line so that there's even money on both sides and they make their money off the juice paid by the losing side of the wager. They set the line based on public perception of the game. It's not like they set the line and then award the home team 3 points. The line is set where its at.

It may be a thought that the home team has a 3 point advantage going into the game if the two teams were even, but it's not a basis for setting the lines at all.

If the ball is in the air 35 times or more, Dallas will get beat.

If the ball is in the air 34 times or less, Dallas should have a great chance to win.

Actually, I think the opposite is true. Houston seems to have a pretty porous secondary that gives up a TON. Of course, if that's true, it probably won't take 34 passes to expose it. But Houston is high powered as well, so it might be required to outscore them.

These aren't the same ole Texans, but if it makes you feel better you can think that way. I don't think the Texans will annihilate the Cowboys, but I do see a dubya for the home team. Main reason, his name is Mario Williams. Expect to see him in the backfield quite often come Sunday. Here's to an injury free and good game.

yeah, I saw how different your team was..the same team that let Mcnabb throw for 400 yards..good luck..

send fred davis a thank you card bc you are 1-1 if that idiot doesnt completely whiff on pollard on that FG attempt

I don't know about them lines and stuff but I am sure glad them Texans beat the skins.
If the skins would have prevailed the Texans would have been extry "up" for the cowboys and madder than the green hornet.

Ya, ya, and if our kicker wasn't feeling the effects of passing a kidney stone the day before maybe he makes that 47 yarder and its back to a seven point game anyway. Lot of "if"s and "coulda"s in the nfl, bottom line, we won. My team is also the same team that put up almost 500 yards of passing yards against the same team your boys played the week before and lost to. Did that little stat pass you by?

I've had kidney stones. Once it passes, you're good to go. Stop making up excuses.
