Are there any linebackers out there that the Cowboys might be looking at, or interested in? IMO the Cowboys could use another inside linebacker, as well as another pash rushing linebacker.

Kind of related...question about Curtis Johnson. I know he was a DE for Indianapolis and in college but on dallascowboys.com's depth chart they have him as an ILB. Is that correct? I would think he would be a pass-rushing OLB in the 3-4.

We are ridiculously thin at ILB right now...only healthy reserve is Carp...Octavien can fill in if need be at ILB, but I don't care for that scenario.

He was injured and never played and so not an option.

My guess is , we'll pick one vetern after week1 , may be Matt Stewart.

Yea I know the boys just picked up Johnson from Indy(like that pick BTW), but I would like the Cowboys to pick up another pass rusher, as well as a inside backer. I was wondering if anyone can think of any specific players out there.

Yeah, too bad our backup inside linebacker can't play inside linebacker.

I think Octavien could handle the spot for a couple of games if James goes down. I like how he hustles and he's been in the system for a year plus.

We'll get J Will back in three weeks or so and he can spend this time further learning the scheme and reviewing film with the vets.

It's not an ideal situation, but James has shown to be pretty durable. Don't know much about Brooking, but he seems to be a gamer when it comes to playing hurt.

I would prefer Zack Follett, he can play ILB AND OLB, not to mention is a ST demon.

And Curtis Johnson is going to play backup OLB, not ILB.

Yea I like Follet as well. I watched him play when he was with Cal. Tough dude, and like you said, he can play both positions. I would pick him up.

It should not be too hard Detroit managed to sneak him onto their PS.
