Looks like a pursuit/assignment drill. Good stuff, thanks.

Looks like Albright is back at DE afterall.

I've been saying it since Kiffin was brought in, there is no way I see Albright competing for a linebacker position. You've got to have a lot of sideline to sideline cover speed as a linebacker in the Tampa 2. Albright isn't that.

He'll need to bulk up and focus on his pass rush moves. He started off as a linebacker in college, and was moved to defensive end in his junior year.

I don't give him a great chance at making the team though.

Albright can play either DE spot and did very well in space last year at ILB.

I can see him as back-up at DE, SOLB and MLB...not to mention STs.

He may never be a starter but his versatility makes him one of those guys you keep.

The Patriots have done stuff like this for years so that they can carry extra players on the roster who aren't quite ready yet to play. Such players also allow you to bring extra guys onto the gameday roster by playing and backing up so many different positions. Albright apparently was the one who knew Rob Ryan's defense better than anyone not named Lee last year so it would seem as though he has the football IQ to do it.

I wonder if he can be taught to become a blocking TE. He has the right size, strength and mobility for it. I bet if he worked hard on his blocking technique that he could do it and that would get him even more snaps per game. I really believe that he could actually become the best blocker we have at the TE position if he put his mind to it - he has the raw ingredients and the right mentality for it.

Albright did fill in at TE during training camp for a couple of days.

How are you all able to make that determination from one photo? Ultimately, you're probably right but i''d just like to know what leads you to believe so based on this pic. Thanks

He is a blind zebra, he can read between the lines.

I guess I need to pay more attention to the Cowboys butts, I can't tell who anyone is in that photo.
