Dallas signed LVE for $2 million last year, then signed Barr for up to $3 million. That is more of the price range they will be looking for.

LVE was pretty good for us last year but he can't be your best LB if you want to have a good defense. If Micah played more LB I'd be fine with just LVE and Clark or whomever but with where Micah played most of his snaps last year (and I see no reason to think it changes) we need at least one really good LB. Wagner, David, etc.I think we sign one of those two guys and honestly I don't really care which one at this point. I just want better players!!!

You also have to look at the injury factor.
LVE misses games.
The neck is an issue unfortunately.

I would feel better about the linebacker duo of Cox and Clark if Cox was actually activated last year.
Clark was beyond raw, which is understandable due to him missing TC/PS and most of the year.

Would be nice to get LVE back/similar level FA and then double dip in the draft for another.

I understand frustration. I’m going with a guy who had a great playoff. LVE was solid, and he’s already here. i’m sick of the fans that just want to sign a name and don’t care anything else about it. Jason Witten is going to the Hall of Fame, but did you really want him his last two or three seasons?

I wasn’t comparing anyone to anyone. I was trying my best to make you understand my opinion. And I’ll repeat it, I don’t care what you did in the past. It’s a show me today’s game. We now have two linebackers, for the price of Bobby. I think it was the better move. But again you’re welcome to your opinion without being sarcastic.
