Just how many points will it take the next two Sundays?

As bad as Dallas' defense is, as bad as it's gotten, it ain't nothing like what's coming the last two weeks.

The whole linebacking corps is gone. Even the top backup. Lee, Durant, and Carter are out, and Sims is is gone, too. There's a shade of a chance Carter plays, but what will he be?

That means Devonte Holloman, a sixth-round rookie who missed most of the year with an injury, is NOW YOUR SIGNAL CALLER ON DEFENSE.

That means kickoff coverage guy Cameron Lawrence is covering tight ends and running backs out of the backfield.

That means defense end failure Kyle Wilber is now the best linebacker Dallas has in the starting lineup.

And if one of these guys gets hurt? They cut Bosworth, so I have no idea who's next. Where's Brady Popinga when you need him?

You don't think Morris and Paulson and Helu aren't licking their chops? And holy moly...Shady McCoy, Ertz, and Celek?

I think it will take 40 points minimum to win either game. DO NOT PUNT! Go for it no matter what because field position will not matter.

Jerry has all the answers. He is the GM after all. He can figure out what to do with this team. I mean this show.

Seriously they are in deep doo doo.

The offense is going to have to score a ton to win either of the next two games.

The defense will need to be changed the last two weeks, they are going to need to blitz and stunt more and take more chances because they can't sit back and play that awful cover 2 zone.

They will likely use their nickel and/or dime packages to minimize the number of LB's on the field and move Church up into the box. This should become their base for these last 2 games unless we start getting some LB's back.

i think i would just all out blitz every down. we can't rush the QB with 4, can't cover for more than 0.5 seconds... i mean what's the point?

might as well throw the kitchen sink every down and hope for mistakes / turnovers

The injuries are not Garrett's fault.

But he has plenty of fault over the 8-8, 8-8, 7-7 seasons we've seen from his leadership.

He's had basically the same defensive support his entire tenure.

True.

I was referring to his lack of game management skills. Garrett's complete inability to manage games has easily cost this team half-a-dozens games since he's been HC. if he were a competent game manager, we'd have been in the playoffs last year and with wins over Detroit and Green Bay we would have virtually clinched this year already, even with this farce of a defense.

easily! 8-8 could have been 10-6 or 11-5 for any other coach. It's that dumbfounding.

Blame it on Romo....it will be all his fault. LOL.

We need 3 new starting caliber lbs next year. 2 with lee and one to back up lee when he misses at least 6-8 games next year. Along with a fs and a cb. And a new dc and a switch back to 3-4.

Honestly, I wouldn't pick Dallas to win either of the last 2 games given the current state of the team, but if Philly doesn't have anything to play for in week 17 then that could lead to the magical 8th win.
