Does anyone actually think Linehan is going to come in here with some revolutionary offensive scheme and just make the offense kick in high gear?
He is going to run Garrett's system, which is remarkably similar to his own, practically identical.
It is the main reason he is here, the familiarity and he will be speaking the same language as Garrett--not because he is going to re-invent the wheel.
I disagree, respectfully, Alexander. I actually liked the way that Linehan used his RBs in Detroit last season. Both Bell and Bush were viable threats on the ground and the passing game. I also think that Linehan is smart enough to get Dez and other players in motion to create space. That's the biggest beef that I have with this offense. It doesn't do it's players any favors in the match up department with the static formations and predictability. I'm hoping Linehan has a wrinkle or two that Neither Garrett or Callahan have bothered to work on. Garrett trusts Linehan. Hopefully he let's him bring some innovation on board. JMHO.
